Day 21

On my walk with Wolf this morning, I noticed little areas of snow left over from yesterday's brushing and thought it looked beautiful! It was almost as if I'd been transported to a place where the plants were covered with glittering diamonds.

Imagine that!

Got almost all the ingredients for tomorrow's big meal...except two of the most important: chestnuts and cranberry sauce!!! So I'll have to brave the stores again today.

I love these pictures! They are awesome. What a great find. I really need to start carrying my camera with me again. I’m not quite ready for tomorrow. Still need to make my cupcakes. ;-)

Well, I have gotten a lot of prep work done...chestnuts, oh no. I didn't realize that was part of the traditional menu.

I made cranberries sauce from scratch and have a tin from Whole Foods. We still have to walk over to Whole Foods to pick up the turkey tonight...I know we must be mad!

I've been working on an organic Green Bean Casserole variation. Got all the onions, shallots and celery chopped and stored in the fridge. Pretty much ready. And some booze including Stella Beer, Sky vodka and some wine.
