My Sacred Life
Day 11
Wolf and I headed up to the beach today; Dad had mentioned he'd heard on the news the waves were really big...wow! They sure WERE! Surfers are pretty much a rarity around here as the waves are never big enough for them. This guy had a hard time getting past the crashing waves to join his three buddies. Wolf did NOT appreciate seeing someone in the water; in fact, ALL the dogs I saw on the beach barked their heads off at him LOL!
Mmmm...the house smells so good, I'm baking orange marmalade spice cake. Co-workers will be happy tomorrow!
Happy Veterans Day to all veterans :-)

Those are some huge waves! Looks like a summer scene - not one in Nov!
Yum on the cake, can I come have a piece!
Mmmmmmmm. That cake smells great!
Man, that water must have been cold!
One of the few things I regret is that I never learned to surf. I know it's not too late, but my coordination is not what it used to be.
Cake sounds yummy.
Wow, that photo is amazing! I love the ocean when it looks all wild like that. (Well, ok, I love it anytime, but I really especially love it when it looks wild!)
Would you share the cake recipe, pretty please???
Those shots are AMAZING! Man do I ever wish I could have been there to see those huge waves crashing in. There is one shot you did in particular that shows wicked waves!
I'm off to Flickr to let you know which one I'm talking about...
that looks great - and I dont mind when the ocean is cold - but you couldnt PAY me enough to get in the water now!
I guess Wold certainly would not appreciate the West coast or Hawaian waves!
oh my goodness that man (has) looks nice from behind.
