My Sacred Life
Day 12
Because I had such fun at the beach yesterday, I thought I'd include another picture from it, one that others seemed to like very much, as well.
Since I enjoy this meme so much, I'm making it a part of "My Sacred Life". Yes, I didn't take a picture of it...but rules are made to be broken, no? Anyway, here's Manic Monday, hosted by Lisa and this is what she has for us this week:
What family traditions or customs would you most like to see preserved? Funny you asked this...I was just talking to my cousin last night about our family tradition of having plum pudding for Thanksgiving. It was always on the table, made with love by my aunt (her mom) and it's not quite to everyone's taste, but we LOVE it.
What do you feel is the least sexy part of the body? Nostrils. GAG.
What keeps you awake at night? Why? (This could be worries, recurring thoughts, pain or any other distraction. Read into this any way you wish.) Not much LOL! I usually don't have a difficult time sleeping. Call me well-adjusted if you must. ;-)

Would never have thought nostrils would even be considered..ewwww! LOL! Love your header pic..beautiful! *smiles*
I ususlly dont have trouble falling asleep. But If I wake up for any reason I usually have a hard time falling back to sleep - at that point its usually finances running thru my mind.
Wow, I wish I had the "gift" of peaceful slumber! Have a great week!
Thanks for the visit. Thanksgiving sounds like a nice time of the year - we don't celebrate it in the UK. Nostrils are pretty vile, aren't they? Especially hairy ones! I envy you for being able to sleep at night. Happy MM!
Rules are definitely made to be broken!
I must admit that I've never had plum pudding. I've lived a sheltered life. ;-)
Nostrils, ewww! Even worse when hairy. Oh now I'm making myself sick.
You are well adjusted! I don't worry at night, I just stay up too late playing on the computer, surfing and playing with pictures.
Oh, and I love that ocean shot. I can almost hear the roar and I'm jealous.
Gosh, I couldn't imagine being able to sleep no matter what. That's a real skill! I've had insomnia all of my life - drove my mother crazy as an infant.
Great photo. Hairy ears are icky too.
Or nose hair, YECH!!!
I've never had plum pudding in my whole life. Want to share the recipe, or is it a closely guarded family secret?
I've never had plum pudding but I have seen your nostrils and they're quite nice.
I was craving plums today. I've never had plum pudding. That is great that y'all have a special tradition. :-)
I never had plum pudding, but my Mama always made a mincemeat pie. Of course, everyone hated it except myself and her. Can you share a recipe for plum pudding?
Yes, nose holes are certainly not attractive, but I would say ears. And if they so happen to have wild thick wicked hairs flailing out of them....Ohhhhh GROSS !
Beautiful picture...I love the water. Can't say I've ever had plum pudding...doesn't sound like my kind of thing. And why are you baggin' on sexy nostrils?!?!?
I think nostrils with nose hair coming out are even un-sexier. ;P
You need to teach me how to fall asleep better... I am the queen of obsess until I get myself in a tizzy and can't fall back asleep :P
I think I have to agree with you about the nostrils!!
I don't know that I have ever seen I can describe as sexy.
Nostrils! That's a body part I would never have thought of, but come to think of it, how very un-sexy!!! Great Manic Monday - thanks for sharing!
Can you say Jealous?? I want to lay down and just go to sleep. LOL... I am great after I get to sleep, but it is getting there that sucks.
I think nostrils are cute generally...unless huge nose with them or tiny nose. I am not hugely fond of nose hair...blah. I love kissing my daughters nose though, it makes her twitch it and is oh so cute.
I also never had plum pudding. I don't even have Thanksgiving dinner though, so of the untraditional family and my new tradition is head over to Cracker Barrel. Aaaahhh! LOL..
Have a great week.
