My Sacred Life
Day 10
I spent the day shopping for wedding gowns with my friend, Megan. She tried on...oh about 10 or 12 all told...but I think she fell in love with number three. I can't describe it other than to say her face just lit up when she looked in the mirror...she looked like a princess in it! There was one other she liked a lot, too...but the service at the second store, after the SUPERB service we had at the first, might have colored the experience a bit.
Afterwards, we had dinner at a Mexican place, played trivia at the bar, and I stopped for this shot on the way home. Far from perfect, but I like the lights reflected in the river.
Hope you had a great day, too!

Sounds like a fun time! We have Emily for the night and made tacos! YUM!
Im so glad she found what she was looking for!
Sometimes you just know when a dress is the right one.
I really like this picture- the industrial vs. nature. Who said it had to be perfect?
What a fun day!
Love the reflection of the lights in the water with just a hint of color in the sky.
It sounds like a wonderful day! I like the photo too.
In fact, I like all the photos you've posted the past few days. (Trying to catch up on some blog reading this weekend after having paid almost NO visits to anyone all week!)
HI Janet, thanks for visiting my blog. I haven't put my bags up yet but when I do I'll be sure to let you know.
:)
When I first read this heading...I thought I was missing something and you forgot to mention something...lol!
Have a great rest of the weekend:) (I'm still fighting this freaking cold)
Pics looks perfect for this time of year! Exciting wedding dress shopping!!
