Today my prompt over at Photo Thursday at Create a Connection is "unique".
This week, I'd like to see a picture of "unique". I was once told I was unique by my ex-husband, and when I tentatively smiled at him, he added..."but not in a good way." I felt sad for him, sad that he didn't appreciate uniqueness, that he didn't appreciate expressing enjoyment or delight in life. He would rather I was like everyone else...perhaps you understand this? I can't say I do, but to each their own! That's what makes life interesting...can you imagine if everyone was exactly the same? Eek!
So go ahead and post a picture that represents "unique" to you.
Come play!

I find this book unique, as well as the Poppet on it!

This, which used to be a Barbie, is certainly unique!

This giant statue of a dog by the side of Route 495 is definitely unique!

Can't imagine living in a world where everyone's the same. Makes me shudder just to think of it.
Right, off to find some uniqueness....
PS. That three-fingered hand is surely unique, with or without the ring.
I am loving that cute lil' poppet--And, that is my favorite chapter from Deathly Hallows too.
The Barbie has a sweet tattoo on her neck!
What is the story behind the big dog?? Hmmm
I am loving that headless sculpture...LOL I must say I am envious of that sculpture's body...I only wish my assets looked that good!
I love your silver rings! I only wear silver myself, I just never liked gold jewelry.
I played...you must come check out my last photo. Ahemm...

Uniqueness is certainly something to be celebarted. I am often told I am unique and I choose to see it as the best compliment!
I love the pics though Mistress Barbie is a tad disturbing, LOL!
Thanks for dropping by my blog via Michele's :)
If we were all the same, my what a boring world this would be!!!
Love the poppit, and of course you know how I feel about HP!
Mistress Barbie, that's very unique! I actually find it hilarious!
Love that statue, find that I'm envious of it actually....well, maybe not of the floating head, but of the body! ;)
And I love your ring! It's "The" ring in silver, my favorite!! Very nice!
Hi Janet. Dropped by from Michele's today to let you know that you've got my photographic creativity wheel spinning. I don't have an answer for you yet, but I suspect I'll have some new captures on my camera's memory card before the day is out.
Thanks to you...
I love the sculpture! (And I, too, am envious of its - ahem - assets. Seems like a theme.)
And the Barbie made me laugh out loud! Whoever dolled her up (pun intended) sure put a lot of creativity and time into it! :)
Love the shots although the statue of the lady removing her head is a bit beyond unique in a funky kind of way! LOL!
I just played :) That barbie is wild!! Looks like she is letting out her inner self!
