I'm afraid I have never heard of a Shiba but it's a lovely dog. Is that from brushing?

Looks soft and fluffy! Our dog Suzie leaves tufts all around the yard when she's shedding her winter coat.

That is an insane amount of fur. All I can say is wow!

Heavens! I'd forgotten. Our old Akita died three years ago. I'd forgotten the bags and bags of undercoat I'd pull out every year. You're right, there's nothing softer. (I miss him still but I don't miss the dust-elephants everywhere.)
