A Day at the Beach and other things

framed shot

The boys and I had fun with Michelle up in Salisbury yesterday! It's always fun to have an extra set of hands to hold a leash, steady a dog, free me up to visit with cute puppies or whatnot!

Came home and made a mushroom lasagne, using the sauce I'd had simmering all day. Pictures forthcoming!

Saturday, I did nothing. Seriously.

Friday, it was coooooooooooooold out; Megan and I were supposed to go to McCormick & Schmick's for dinner, but I just didn't have it in me to traipse around Boston in the cold. So we went to Macaroni Grill, ordered a bottle of wine, had some pasta and collapsed at Barnes & Noble til they closed. I read Hannibal Rising...not quite a book, more like an outline. Still, I read about 70 pages LOL!

How was your weekend?

That's a great photo!

I think doing nothing one weekend sounds good. I packed, and packed, and shoveled snow, and packed. :)

I always say that a day at the beach in MA is nothing without a dog humping your leg.. just sayin..

A day at the beach (even in the cold) sounds great. I love your pictures on Flickr from that day.

Mmm, I love McCormick and Schmick's! I had some delicious mahi mahi and creme brulee for my b-day dinner this weekend.

Oh what a wonderful weekend it sounds like...and the dogs with you at the beach. I am amazed you were able to pick up wine and read after all the fresh air.

I had a somewhat quiet weekend too. Watched a couple movies, got some groceries and wine, made a roasted steak forOscar night with some wine and watched all the Hollywood fanfare last night. Hannibal Rising must be pretty good if it kept you in the store that long, thats a pretty good book review in itself! Boy they must have paid him a lot of money to write these he wasn't going to write another one two novels ago!

Love the photo and what gorgeous sky!

Very good! Not as good as walking on a beach, but good nonetheless. Watched alot of Deep Space Nine, season one. Visited with friends, watched the Oscars, finished a couple of very good books. All in all, was a very nice and way too short weekend.

Love the picture and the caption!

I think a day for doing absolutely nothing is great! :)

My weekend was the same as always, nose in the book, head in the clouds, Wolfie sleeping next to me ;) hehe
