T13: What I'm Thankful For
T13thanksgiving1
Thirteen Things I'm Thankful For
(me and 2 gazillion other T13ers LOL)

1. ...new friends and old! Happy Thanksgiving!
2. ...the fun I had traveling this year--Georgetown & DC with MaryEllen last January; the cruise I took in Feb with MaryEllen, Maureen & Kim; the trip to Toronto in May to see the Lord of the Rings play; getting some new, improved memories of VA from my trip there in June with MaryEllen and visiting Mo's new house in the Northeast Kingdom, aka Vermont in August.
3. ...the fact that Mom is at peace...and having fun, apparently!
4. ...being able to spend Thanksgiving with Maribeth!
5. ...getting my new camera :-)
6. ...the concerts I got to see this year: John Fogerty, the Pretenders, Dr. John, Leon Russell, Enter The Haggis, BNL and a gazillion bagpipers at the Glasgow Lands Scottish Festival out in Northampton, MA
7. ...being able to mend a pretty big rip in the fabric of friendship with Megan
8. ...the comments on my blog...as well as the people who leave them!
9. ...healing and positive thoughts
10. ...my new tattoo!
11. ...discovering Aveda Comforting Tea
12. ...creating a new signature scent, which I named "Snape"
13. ...as I said last year, I'm still thankful, strange as this may sound, for each and every experience I've been through in life, good and bad.

Have a great TT and wonderful Thanksgiving. Sounds like you've got it all in perspective (can I borrow some?)

And there will even be more next year.

I so love the idea of a signature scent. I must do that...

Happy Thanksgiving!

You've definately had a great year! I still refuse to get a tattoo. Sixteen years from now I can hear my daughter say, "But you got one mom!" LOL My hubby already has several.

I wanna see your tattoo! :) Happy thanksgiving and thanks for stopping by!

Posted by Gabrielle at November 22, 2006 10:56 PM

aww thanks! me too!

I created a signature scent once. Then the company stopped carrying the component essential oils I'd used in creating it. Pfaugh...now I need to find a new supplier!!

What kind of camera did you get? Have you figured out how to use all the features yet? (I haven't...my Nikon S6.)

Thanks for stopping by - and in about a month, the "falling leaves" switch out for snowflakes, which are a bit smaller.

I'm grateful for #8, too. Part of me really wants a tatoo, the other part of me always talks me out of it.

And of course you're invited for the LOTR marathon! :) The more the merrier!

Larry Potter was on tonight. What a coincidence.

You saw the Pretenders this year? Nice.
RIP James Honeyman-Scott and Pete Farndon.

I always say Chrissy Hynde is teh only woman who should be allowed to don a guitar.

I saw a good Virginia band Tuesday night: American Dumpster. I can't tell it's Thanksgiving yet...maybe later in the day? Mine are a little mixed up.

Great list and I'm with you on many, many of them. Each event this year came with a lesson and many, many blessings that helped me get through them. I know you feel the same, from what you wrote.

I send you my love, friendship and blessings on this holiday! Enjoy your turkey!

That is a terrific list. I find it's important to honor both the good and bad experiences in our lives- they make us who we are.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

This is a great list. It reminds me of all of the things that I am thankful for. I'm fairly green with envy looking at all the concerts you got to see this year.

Happy TT!

Very powerful list Snape!! Love the name of your signature fragrance. And I like how you are able to compare past perspectives against today. Isn't it true that ditty about what doesn't kill us makes us stronger?

Have a wonderful holiday weekend. I'm grateful to meet such a fun interesting person as you online.

Here is my edition #16 TT list, it's kind of random...
