NaBloPoMo #23: The Holiday Season Has Arrived!
black and blue
Happy Thanksgiving! I bet this is the one kitchen appliance that gets the most work on a day like today! And those of you that have electric stoves, well, you know what I mean!

We've had a great day so far; delicious food courtesy of my cousin, great company, and a couple of nice long walks with the dogs! We're taking a break before dessert ;-)

Hope you all that celebrate Thanksgiving are having a fantastic day! Do you have traditions you like to follow each year, or do you play it by ear?

We had a nice long walk with the dog today too as it was sunny and nearly 60 degrees. Not a typical Thanksgiving at all. We went out to eat for dinner- the first time I've ever done that and I really enjoyed it. I'm surprised because I'm rather traditional when it comes to Thanksgiving.

Hope you have a great one!

Glad to hear your Thanksgiving was/is a good one.

We do the same thing every year. We visit both of our families, eat too much, and wish we hadn't! :)

Happy Day!

We have lots of tradition....but year to year we come up with new things too.

What IS a constant is that we are HUGE Black Friday Shoppers. 5 of us head out every year at 5 am.......its crazy but we love it!

Stay close to your phone in case we need bail money!

A wonderful day yesterday...I hope you had a peaceful thanksgiving as well!
I'm finding that my tradition is turning into a stand-off against the creepy invasion of commercialism on Thanksgiving...And we're extending it today by shunning Black Friday and visiting friends for day 2 of movies, turkey and stuffing... :)

no real traditions yet... though having the boy might change that.

We kind of had some traditions but they have gone to the wayside because of people's busy schedules - including my own. But we all still eat together and have a delicious meal!

Looks like a yummy time!
