- Anyone want to go see the Raconteurs with me at the Orpheum this Friday at 7:30? It's only 30 bucks :-)
- Target at 10 am-ish during the week...don't go there! It's baby & toddler heaven, and if you have the least little sensitivity to sound, holy haysus! Not only do some of the moms just let the kids scream, they let them bring toys that make loud, repetitive sounds, as do some of the moms themselves. For example, one mom said to her baby/toddler (and in not a quiet voice I might mention): "oh look at the pumpkins, the pretty pumpkins, oh look there's another pumpkin" over and over and over til I just wanted to say to her OMG HE SEES THE PUMPKINS ALREADY! Can you not hear yourself? MAN! Sorry if I've offended moms, I know not ALL moms are like that...are you? LOL!
- I decorated the yard Monday in Halloween style, and finally got the dang Blingo gift card to work. Hope those merchants get their money!
- OMG! And I found the man of my dreams Monday! Would you like to see him? Sure you would! I'll post his picture soon :-)
- Colleen wrote a very interesting post on Alan Rickman, aka Snape; click on the highlighted link and go check it out, if your'e so inclined!

Halloween halloween halloween! *squee* If I had a yard I'd be decorating it now...the cold seasons get all the best holidays.
Man of your dreams? Photos, please! ;)
And that's a fine bit of Alan-love there.
I want to go see the Raconteurs!!!! :( Sadly I'm all the way down to Mexico... Please, please, please take pictures!!!!
And yes, most moms speak in silly repetitive sounds. Like babies were supposed to be stupid. They're not!
Yes, Target during the day is hell. It's those damn stay-at-home-mommies who crave grown-up interaction so bad that they'll talk out loud until someone finally answers them.
Target has become as scary as Wal-mart on a Saturday morning! I am awaiting pumpkins here, so I can carve up my Jack-O-Lanterns...I love Halloween.
I love Alan Rickman more...I think...tee-hee
I like kids for the most part, minus the screams. Eeek. Can we take that gene out?!!
Ohh Halloween! I will decorate my apt instead of studying for my test tomorrow!!
*note to self* Never go to Target with Janet
I am glad that I am usually at work at that hour. I went to Target to run an errand for work last Friday during the day and it was filled with crying kids. And I like kids- I even have one myself.
I am a mom and have never spoken to my son in that annoying way. Bugs the crap out of me and it probably annoys the kids too.
When Halloween time comes around it makes me wish I was a kid in the USA!
I have heard mommies that sound exactly like that! How funny! :)
