Tonight, on 20/20 Barbara Walters talks with Terri Irwin, Steve Irwin's widow, and to his business partner John Stainton. While I want to see this, I know it's going to be a sobfest. Why do we feel so strongly about Steve Irwin? I believe it's his innate goodness. What do you think?

I saw some clips from the interview on GMA this morning...heart-wrenching stuff...I think he was so easy to identify with, you just felt like you knew him
I am going to watch it, I think. And I will cry. Everytime I see one of his shows, I get a little crush on him. I think the animals had a crush on him too. You could see how much he loved and respected them, and I believe that they knew he was on their side.
You could just tell how much he loved what he was doing.
I plan to tape it. Then I can watch when I want, and cry, then watch a little more, and cry, etc.
I think he was a good guy and he was really crazy which I think is cool too. He probably did a lot more for animal education than a lot of people could. :(
Set my vcr...sure its going to be very sad. :0(
I'm gonna watch tonight. I think Steve was just the kind of person we all want to be. We want to love what we do, be unabashedly excited about what we love, and because of these things, we are wonderfully happy with life. He certainly was all of those things, wasn't he?
I miss him already! Gotta go, the show is starting.
