Brrrrrrr

frost on the leaf

My Sacred Life
Day 8

It was sooooooooo cold this morning! I almost didn't bring a camera with me on my morning walk with Wolf. My purse, where I usually keep my small HP, wasn't willing to give up its contents (i.e., couldn't find the damn camera). So I grabbed Dad's small Canon and off I went.

I don't really care for the freezing cold...anything below 40 is too cold to me. But I'll put up with it because I really dig the four seasons in New England! I like my summers hot, my winters cold, my autumns chilly and my springs filled with the promise of sunshine and warmth.

Wolf, however, would like it to be snowy and cold 365 days a year. Weirdo!

I just told Michelle that I'm missing the cold.

Shibas are bred for snow, no?

Oh man, I love the way the frost looks on that leaf. That’s a great shot. Of course, I don’t like how the frosty weather feels. I’m cold when it drops below 60 degrees! I need to start carrying my camera with me again—at leas my point and shoot. I’m missing so many cool things! I’m glad you shard this with us. And yeah, Wolfie is a weirdo. ;-)

Dogs will be dogs!
I love that picture.
And go ahead and rub it in why don't you. I think it was 96 here in Phoenix yesterday.

I have to admit I don't mind the colder weather for a little bit - especially consdiering my addicition to flecce. This morning was gorgeous walking through the woods with Marley the leaves crisp the sun bright - everything looked so clear and clean.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm back in Alabama where our seasons vary only slightly. Extremely hot, hot, warm, and cool...with a day or so of cold just to get our hopes up.

Hi, you have captured the summers green, the falls red/yellow and the winters frost in one single photo. That's great.

When I left Oslo Airport yesterday morning it was -3C ( 27F)- and snow was in the Air. It's warmer here in Miami Beach.

A nice photo. thanks for sharing. I'm not sure how things are by you, but down in the NY area, I feel like we were deprived of an autumn! It seems to have gone from 100 degrees to 30 degrees overnight!
Here from Michele.
At least you don't have one of those teeny tiny dogs that blow away in the wind!
