***SCROLL DOWN FOR WHAT IS IT WEDNESDAY!!!***

Button from schmutzie
I've been noticing a decrease in comments, too and then I read about this over on zoot's blog today (right after I berated a friend for rarely commenting on my blog [not you, K]). Deep down, though, I thought ... oh mah god, it was either a) me or b) my blog was screwed up. My blog designer has been overworked and whatnot lately so I didn't want to ask her to take a look to see if something was wrong and was resigned to my fate. What a maroon!
So all you lurkers; come out, come out, wherever you are, stop hiding behind your bloglines and google readers and SAY something, will ya! Comments make everyone smile :-)
And if you need something besides my horrid writing to generate a comment ... pick a picture! Which one do you like better...and why?
or
I'm posting this early, because you know, tomorrow is What Is It Wednesday!
Comments
it's not so much "lurking" as it is being too lazy to type. and i love the picture of the bride. it's just...funny.
Thanks for joining in!
I prefer the picture of the lizard, but that bride one? Why is she washing her feet when she's surrounded by all that sand?
ren: Well, thanks, Ren, for commenting! Now...your turn!
schmutzie: She was getting ready to walk up some stairs to her reception :-)
I had the same thought as schmutzie. I mean, won't she just get more sand on her feet?
And although it is a lovely picture, I like the iguana- maybe it's the colors.
The bride, but the textures of the iguana are wonderful.
I missed your post on Friday that you did on Sunday! Can I still play? =)
Anytime an iguana ponders, I'm captivated. :x)
I am almost at the boot-out-the-blog mentality, myself. I get very few comments daily, and I do try to go and comment on new blogs every other day.
I think in my case it's just "me"...
I guess I am just old and uninteresting. *sigh
Love the bridal shot the best. Don't know where you got the picture of my ex-husband!
Everyone loves a bride! I pick the Iguana! I love the pepples, sand, and his spikey points. He's beautiful! or is it a she? An Iguana bride, who knows???
Hey, I know that I comment on just about every post you, um, post! I am a good commenter. :-) Or at least I try to be on all of my regular reads.
While your wedding shots are fabulous, I love the iguana. It's the textures that appeal to me!
Now I'm going to post a delurk post for tomorrow too. Not that it ever works...but thanks for the link to Schmutzie's cool button and for the great idea.
I really like both pictures. I love the close up of the iguana because it's a great photo and also because I've always loved iguanas and lizards. I like the pic of the bride because it reminds me of my upcoming wedding.. I'll be getting married on an island and hope to have a dress similiar to the one she is wearing
i'm just a lazy reader/commenter/blogger. lately i've noticed that my blog isn't even getting spam anymore... that's how slow it's gotten!
i like both pictures... i looove iguanas and i think the bride picture is beautiful and full of whimsy. (did i just say whimsy?)
Michele: Only on the bottoms :-)
Lisa: Thanks! Of course you can play, anytime!
SilverWillow: I'm sensing some negativity...that's not like you! Everyone! GO VISIT SILVERWILLOW! Please!
MB: HAHAHA ex-husband...that iguana is too cute to look like him ;-)
Mel: Too funny, you followed your sister! Maybe the iguana was the groom to the bride ;-)
Lisa: Quite right, you are a FANTASTIC commenter! Thank you for your compliments :-)
Dandelion Dust!: What a GREAT name! I hope your wedding will be as fantastic as Azzy's :-)
Mo: You did indeed say whimsy! Next you'll be saying fairy and shimmery and ...
I like them both, Azzy's smiling in the picture and looks like she's having fun. The lizard doesn't look like he's having as much fun, but he's got a lot of nasty looking spines on his back so maybe he doesn't get close to many people!
I like Azzy, for obvious reasons.
Do like I do. My SiteMeter tells me when friends visit. A lot sneak in and out without leaving a comment but about once a week.
It does make me look bad.
Now if I have a really great or exceptionally funny post, they come out of the closet to post.
..
I am not a lurker as you know! I love the photo of the bride - I can't wait to see more photos! Does the bride have a blog she shares? Can you email me?
I usually post comments....seems rude to peek and leave!
I love the colors of her flowers against her dress.
My comments go along with how busy I am. I like to make sure I read every day if possible but sometimes commenting takes time especially if I have nothing witty to say :)
I prefer the two legged creature
I really enjoy your pictures! And I prefer the iguana of the two above; I think it's the textures, and there's a certain dignity or majesty to him.
Hi Janet! I love both pictures, but I'd have to say the iguana is my favorite of the two - I love up-close shots. :-)
I have been SO busy and not posting or commenting and no one comes to visit. So, you are not alone. Love the picture of the bride!
Hi saw you at Michele's today too. I like the bride better than the iguana.
I read you everyday through Google but never comment b/c I'm lazy. Sorry!
Well I like them both! I think that the bride one rocks because it is unexpected...and the iguana one is just so...iguanaish (is that a word? Probably not- I tend to make up my own).
I like the bride photo better a) because it's such a wonderful and unusual candid shot (love the contrast of those bright flowers among all the neutral colors), and b) I'm just not much of an appreciator of lizards. I will say though, that one is pretty handsome...for a lizard.
Stepped out of my mind lurk to leave you comment no 27. You can now never complain that you don't get enough comments.
kisses and hugs and chocolate and led zeppelin and johnny depp and snape and rum & coke dirty martinis choose plates fois gras alcyon-tannat driving in the car blasting the music harvard square
sweet? non?
I just don;t understand, she's so pretty i'm sure she could have done much better than an iguana.
That was a hard choice for me. I like the fact that the bride got all sandy walking in her wedding dress. Otherwise I would have gone for the iguana.
Delurking! I've been here all along!
I tried to leave a comment yesterday but the system wouldn't let me, it was not my fault, lol!!
Love your iguana picture! The bride is so tan, I bet it must have felt good to wash her feet off. What a lucky wedding to be married on a beach!
Yeah, I think I'm one of those that usually comments, but I think I need to comment on new blogs that I see. Sometimes I feel kinda dorky or something. lol
Ok to answer this a few days later????
Sometimes I don't comment because I'm either too tired to form a coherent thought (I have CFS and it happens more often than you'd think) or else I'm interrupted by the annoying people around here who seem to think I should give them attention whenever I'm on the computer, which is often.
I do return though, nearly everyday, because you always have something interesting to read about. I'll try to comment more often, even if it's just to say Hi!
I wish I could tan like the bride in this pic, wow. It's a great shot! But I don't think it's fair to choose between poor Iggy and the bride. They are both beauties in their own kingdoms.
LOL
