Here's last Wednesday's picture:

And this is what it was cropped from:
burntofferings got it right: "I have a 'hunch' that it is used for juicing. Hold the other bulbous end in you palm, half a citrus in the other, and push and rotate...
As always, thanks for playing! By the way, all photos used in What Is It Wednesday are marked as "private" in my flickr account...that's so no one can view the picture at a bigger size to get a better look!
Also, it seems my blog has been having some commenting problems lately...my designer is working on it and we'll get it fixed! Sorry for the inconvenience!

Part of a really old plane? Or a torpedo?
It looks a bomb or something! Hhhmmm...anything you want to tell us?? :-)
A portion of a fuel tank on a fighter-bomber; probably, a part of a memorial to WWII or Korean War participants.
Looks like a bomb to me.
Part of a retro-plane
I think it looks like the propeller from a submarine or something.
Plane?
HI! Have been crazy busy and not visiting as much as I would like.
Love the pic of the foxglove!
The tail fin to Harry's flying car? If I have no idea what things are, I go for the creative instead. ;-)
It's a bomb! Run away...
flight fins on a bomb, um, I think, I may have read it somewhere
Hi, Janet. I'm here from Michele's.
Cool pics! The foxglove in your previous post is simply gorgeous!
As for today's picture - perhaps a part of a windmill?
Looks like an airplane or a bomb. Or maybe an airplane that is a bomb all-in-one kind of a deal.
Like everyone else I think it's the end of a bomb - makes me think of the last scene of Dr Strangelove.
Its the butt of a torpedo...but I am so late it doesn't matter. LOL!
