Remember in the movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azakaban, this type of flower froze when the dementors passed by? They're so pretty! The flowers, not the dementors!

I didn't realize that was foxglove!
I love foxglove..it's so beautiful!!
I LOVE foxglove...I even love the name. I had forgotten about that in the movie.
This is a gorgeous photo!
beautiful, it's a little too warm for them to thrive here...neat flower though, we had some that grew wild in Atlanta :)
wow, look at you with the horticulture AND potter facts!! love it
That's gorgeous!!
I know foxglovess are supposed to be easy to grow, but I've never had a bit of luck with them around here and always found that disappointing. I like their freckles. :-)

Beautiful..........flowers....
...but I think you hurt the "dementors" feelings.....
That's what foxglove looks like? Man, it's stunning with those little speckles inside the flower. I wonder if I could grow some...
Here from Michele; it's nice to be here on a non-Thursday!
Here from Nichele's although she didn't send me --- visiting two links up too:-)
Beautiful, the way you capture the sway of these in a gentle breeze....

gorgeous!
my grandmother's backyard had been overtaken by foxglove and i loved walking through them and even snagged a few plants for my (old) yard. now she's gone and so are the plants. i need to go back and steal a few more before her house is sold.
thanks for a beautiful photo and memory!
That is so beautiful!
Those are beautiful, are they in your yard?
Such a great color - what was the name of the flower that screamed when Harry and the others pulled them out of their pots?
Absolute gorgeous! I have never seen foxglove before...and I love those dark speckles on them. Thank you for this amazing photo. :x)
Oh yeah! Now I remember! Don't foxgloves have digitalis in them or something?
It seems that all the spectacularly gorgeous flowers are so deadly.
