I volunteered to be asked still another five questions by Michelle, who is one of my most favorite photography models!
1. If you could live anywhere in the world other than the US or Japan; where would it be and why? I think it would be France...maybe not Paris, but somewhere quiet, out in the country. The reason I pick France and not Scotland or Hawaii is the weather, Scotland being too cold and Hawaii being too sunny (if there is such a thing!). The reason I pick France is the history, the sights, the food! And Julia loved it there :-)
2. What are three things you hope to accomplish in the next 3-5 years? Hmmm...pay off my debt, buy a home, spend some time in Japan, and live to see all the Harry Potter books be made into movies.
3. Your house is on fire (don't worry you have plenty of insurance and your pets and family members and camera are safe); what other three items do you take with you – you have to be able to carry them out. Ooooh, that's a tough one! 1) all the photo albums, 2) as many of my Japanese things as I could carry and 3) the hard drive...it's got all my pics on it!
4. You have to give up one of the following for a year which do you pick: Internet, TV or books (remember this means no HP in July!) Hmmm...another tough one...I'd have to go with TV...or maybe the internet...no, tv, damn you pointing out HP!
5. What are your thoughts on the whole Anna Nicole Smith story? Clearly...fame isn't everything [10 points to anyone who knows who that quote is from]. I think the whole thing is quite sad.
DIRECTIONS FOR THE INTERVIEW MEME
1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
Also, I wanted to share my favorite photos from this weekend with you :-)
Comments
The quote is from Snape! woo hoo! 10 points to me. :) I was interviewed today, too. Though, I was shocked not to see Snape on your blog template today!
"Fame isn't everything" sounds really familiar. Was it from Harry Potter? I wanna say Draco, or Lucius.
Oh I just saw the answer above.
posting my correct address this time.
I think the French countryside would be great- or maybe the Italian countryside. But I don't know any Italian. Either way, the food would be delicious!
I love your photos from this weekend. The statue thing in the upper right is so cool!
The spiral thingy picture? Excellent!!! My instructor would like. :)
Thanks for the interview! A few thoughts....1. That headless sculpture kind of freaks me out. 2. It looks like Greta is attacking her pup there! Must be mom-pup bonding! 3. Too much sun???? No such thing! I might now move to Hawaii because it is crazyyyy expensive or too far from my family but never because it is too sunny!
I had one of the best weekends !!!
Dude, please tell me you're backing up all your images onto CD roms!
GREAT pictures!
Love the one of Greta and Anneliese too. Those teeth!!!
Oh my, those photos are wonderful!! Whose puppies are those?
re question #4, I'd absolutely have chosen TV. After all, these days you can see quite a few shows on the internet or an iPod. :-)
I'm still up for an interview if you want. I did this game ages ago, not long after I started blogging, so it would be fun to do it again.
ok that photo in the upper right officially freaked me out. love the one of the water though. =)
I love your photos from the is weekend - they came out very nice!
INTERVIEW ME! (and gorgeous pictures)
it was great, i had a birthday and enjoyed time with the family. that always means laughs and good times!
Oh come on! The real reason you'd like to live in France.... isn't that where Johnny lives?
Oooooh. Your new blog design is, as they say, teh sexay. :)
What is that intruguing thing in the lower left of your photo montage? Some sort of modern art?
Also: yes, TV goes, absolutely. (I guess if you were REALLY hurting for it, you could cheat and watch TV on the internet... ;)) Cannot live without books, would miss my friends too much if I left the Internet. (How will I talk to them otherwise without paying a fortune in phone bills?)
Oh please interview me!
I like the headless picture, it's really interesting! I like the one of the ocean too though, I miss it when I'm at home & miss the mountains when I'm away.
The swirly thing is neat! Great answers. Don't interview me though. :( I still owe people questions.
I am digging that sculpture! There can be lots of meanings to that piece. I would love to be sitting in a vineyard in Italy! Definitely want to be able to see the remaining HP movies..and I couldn't give up my TV...and don't even think about my remote! Muhaa-haaa
Mysterious, black-robed Severus uttered those harsh words to poor Harry. Gee-Whiz...whenever will July get here!!!
The rusty hinges on the potion's closet door lended an eery creak to the once silent hallway. With Snape nowhere in sight, SilverWillow stepped out into the dimly lit hall of Hogwarts, looked into the portal mirror to the muggle world and said...."Interview Me".
I got the same meme. Yours is fascinating. If you get too many volunteers, send them my way to be interrogated.
Your France answer made me think of the wonderful scenery in the movie A Good Year. I think it was filmed in Provence.
Love those sculptures. I went and looked at some of the other pix in that set and, being the artistic photographer that you are, you have many intriguing angles, etc...do you have any pics of those human statues that show the entire thing? Would make for a boring picture, but I'd be interested. Also, does the garden have a website? (he says, too lazy to look it up himself)
omg the nekked head picture has me dying!
please interview meeeeeeee!
