My Dad and his cousin, Auntie Rosa, looking through a book of snapshots. These two grew up together, their moms were sisters and they share many happy memories.
The creator of SPSH, TNchick, lost her beautiful cat Punkin quite unexpectedly yesterday and she's heartbroken. Please stop by and see her...

I bet they have lots of great stories to go along with those pictures they're looking at :)
That's really cute, I bet the are having a great time.
That's terrible about Punkin :(
Are you going to be around next weekend I am still planning to come up, I haven't confirmed with the friend I was supposed to be staying with but I think it should still be ok. So wanted to see if you were free and wanted to hang! :)
Such a sweet photo!
Yes, I did stop over at our leader...so sad.
My memory is shared.
I have a tribute to my loved one too!
A very lovely photo!
Happy Saturday.
Mine's up too!

I love that picture. I hope to sit around like that someday with you and share time looking at old photos.
As a matter of fact I have tons of old photos down in my basement. My parents store all their old photos there. We need to go through them sometime. You, me and MB with photo albums to just tuck them into as we go through them. Sound like fun?
what a precious photo...
I stopped by TNCHICK.....so sad....I feel so bad for her
They grew up like brother and sister and my Mom just adores your Dad. Her real brother was never very kind to her (or anyone) but George and my Mom were just devoted to each other as kids.
It's wonderful that they can share those memories. I think it's very important to be able to have someone like that in your life.
I feel so bad about Punkin- I can't imagine losing my pet.
It's so nice to have family.
Mine's up too :)
I love this picture. It reflects memories perfectly! Your Auntie Rosa reminds me of my Mother. There is such a striking similarity. I think I will go find my old photo box and do some digging tonight...
Have a groovy rest of the weekend!
Cheers,

My grandmother had pictures of people that mom didn't know. I'm not sure that grandma even knew them. So, I am trying to get Mom to sit down and label all the old photos with names and relationships. I certainly won't remember if she doesn't.
Such a cute pic!!!
Great take on this week's theme. A memory of them sharing memories!
