1. My freedom:

Right here, baby! My freedom is the ability to hop on an airplane and fly away. WIth not much advance notice!

2. My hope:

My hope is that I get a picture of lightning! Tried it here, didn't work, but I'm not giving up!

3. My Wish:

My wish is to go to Paris again to visit the beautiful museums, eat a crepe, stroll along the Seine, sip a cafe creme. Someday!

I've never really thought about getting a picture of lightning before. I suppose that it would be rather difficult.

I want to go to Paris someday, only for me it will be the first time...

My wife and I definitely enjoyed the short trip we were able to take to France and other parts of Europe back before we had the kids.

While I've never been successful myself, a friend of mine who has recommends the "Spray and Pray" technique to capture pictures of lightning. Keep that shutter firing.

I hope you get that picture!! I haven't tried it yet. I usually just climb under the covers and hope it goes away soon.

For the lightning pic...Are you using a shutter release cable or keeping your shutter open on a bulb setting on a tripod while trying to get the shot? I've had success with this when shooting star patterns and moonless horizons...

Nice pics for the theme! We had a freakin' bad thunderstorm late today. I never thought about taking a picture of the lightening though I enjoyed the storm. I love a good storm.
