I can place exactly one of those!
#8 John and Paul.
I've always thought of that song as being us!
1 is Ramble on by Led Zep ... 10 Big Balls by ACDC 11 Warren Zevon with the Werewolves of London .... the rest have me stumped.
Okay, I know exactly "none" of these lyrics. Ah, I'm getting old. ;) Cheers.
Please to be saving me the rest of that baggie.
Loved the way you grouped them as if they were all one song!
I didnt do T13 today, was busy working on the header. IF you get a chance, could you let me know if my site is loading up slowly? anytime. Thanks!!!
I got 3 of them......and a few others are ringing in my head but I cant get them.....
I only know #11 Warren Zevon "Werewolves of London......
Did you know all these or have to look them up??? I'm impressed....LOL
Happy Thursday!!
I suck. I got two of them. But, you listed some good lines so I enjoyed reading them.
11. He was lookin for the place called Lee Ho Fooks, gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein.
Warron Zevon Rip. Awesome Song though.
i'm gonna have #11 in my head all.day.long. thanks chickie!
I'm sooo bad at this sort of thing. I only know #8...two of us.
Mine are late but I'm catching up. I'm in a pontoon boat.
I remember number 10 well because my uncle, who was a few years older than me, got a real kick out of playing it for me when he first bought the cassette.
One of my favorite lyrics is from the Tori Amos song, 'Tear in Your Hand':
"I don't believe you're leaving because me and Charles Manson like the same ice cream..."
I think I'm going to play #5 right now!
Oh dear. My lack of pop culture literacy is showing. I don't recognize ANY of those. :( But I love the one with the lion and the tadpole. What's that from?
Great idea for T13! I LOVE Everclear's "Santa Monica". I have played the heck out of that on CD and iTunes. I haven't heard "Big Balls" in years, LOL, though I a huge fan of AC/DC. I'm partial to "TNT" and several, several others. :)
I don't think I can identify any of them! I'm going to keep on trying on getting them. :) Happy Thursday!!
Got mine up.
I didn't know any of them!! Happy TT
Hahha I like those! Esp the balls one! ;)
ok. I'm sure I'll know them when we see the answers, but... this is the 2nd TT I've seen about song lyrics, but the first one of those was Prince & I've been stuck singing it all day!
Ok, I'm such a loser. I don't know any of these. But then I'm horrible at remember lyrics and such unless I can hear the music.
#11 Werewolves of London!!! Yessss! One of my all time favorite songs.
#8 has to be Two of Us from Let It Be, right?
As much as I love music, you would think that I'd be much better at this!
Sorry, my previous post listed my other weblog, not my blogger site.
#3 is the only one I know! Neil Young rocks.
You stumped me...but I always enjoy a challenge.
My TT is up!
Oh dear! I got a big, fat, zero on this quiz :( But I did get to look at pictures of yummy Alan Rickman, so all was not lost!
nr3: after the gold rush, Neil Young, I love that song. Maybe if you could play the first notes of the other ones I could recognize a couple...but I don't know. Happy TT!
I love your TT header!
1. Ramble On - Led Zepplin
3. Neil Young - After the GOld Rush
13. Tom Pety & the Heartbreakers - Luna
Cool 13!!! Mine's up!
Made me wanna sing along :-)
But I'll spare the surroundings.... *lol*
Wow! Great songs! I actually have several of those!
Great Thursday 13!
Shash
