Ghostly view of the Cheasepeake Bay Bridge
According to someone who sounds like he knows what he's talking about, this is the William Preston Lane, Jr., Memorial Bridge, more popularly known as the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. It is near Annapolis and connects the Baltimore/Washington, DC metro area to Maryland's eastern shore via routes US 50 / US 301. I took the shot from a plane, flying from Manchester, NH to Baltimore, MD, so he's probably right!

If you are afraid of heights driving over this bridge will give you the creeps. Even as a passenger I just look straight ahead and concentrate on the beach.
