I had Wolf outside on the line last night, and went to check on him. I saw him staring intently at something on the ground and reaching toward it with his paw; when I got closer I saw this:

Wolf is fascinated with bumblebees--he must've snuck up on this one and caught it somehow without it stinging him...cause if it had stung him, all y'all would've probably heard the dreaded shiba scream!

I'm glad Wolf didn't get stung.

And I think I'm going to pass on cleaning your house (Re you comment) I get the desire to clean... oh once a year? Otherwise it's "Crap so and so is coming over.... CLEAN!!"

The only picture of a bee you can take is a picture of a dead one, lol! You big scaredy cat ;) I'm glad Wolf didn't get stung too.

We have always enjoyed watching our doggie play with cicada shells. She gnarls at them and gets all drooly, snaps at them like they're going to bite her. It's quite amusing to watch. :D

My lab-mix has a scream/howl that we heard when she got stung last summer, glad wolfie missed the stinger. But I agree, that's a great photo...
