I'm kind of in shock!

I sold my very first picture today:

8x10, white mat, black frame

Recently, I donated these two in a double frame to a charity auction in NC and it went for $60:

or maybe it was this one:

Yesterday, I donated three pictures to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Jimmy Fund fundraiser a friend from work is involved in:

This one in a 4x6 white mat, black frame

This one in a 5x7 white mat, black frame

This one in an 8x10 white mat, black frame

And I'm thinking that someone saw this one:

at the coffee shop where I have some pictures hanging, because I got an email today from a representative of a company that offers resource guides to pregnant women. She asked me if I had an interest in advertising my company in their guide which will be available in high end OB/GYN offices in and around Boston and the surrounding suburbs and will also be placed in prenatal kits.

I LOVE the storefront pieces ... actually, they are all beautiful. But, as you probably guessed, my fave is the dog.

Since I'm finish up being pregnant, I will tell you that there is a real market for pregnancy/post natal photography, especially from someone reputable! I think it's a real niche market and I am positive you'll get business from the high-end OB practices. I know I'm considering baby pics for sure.

Congrat's Janet, I knew you could do it -- now how would I go about purchasing your leaf photo? We just renovated our living room and somehow I feel that picture would go nicely with the frozen running stream pic and sunset pic from my FIL. :)
