Thursday Thirteen (goes bye bye)

***So sad, today is the last Thursday Thirteen, it's been fun while it lasted!***

Thirteen Things I'm thinking about right now...

1. I like silver better than gold.
2. My favorite tv show right now is Lost.
3. But ... My Name is Earl cracks me UP!
4. I want to go visit Japan again SO badly.
7. It's wicked hard to find a really good xxxdirty martini.
6. The Hobbit; I'm getting really impatient for Peter Jackson to bring this one to the big screen!
8. I want a phone/computer/MP3 player all in one.
9. Withdrawing/drifting away from everyone seems to be the path I've chosen lately, but I'm not sure I like it.*
10. The tree in the front yard is gone; it makes me sad (and of course the @$$hole next door told my father yesterday that since the tree was partially on his property he should be able to take the wood. Maribeth, you better hurry up!
11. I think I found a decent kennel for Wolf & Max for my vacation February...it's important to me that they're well taken care of.
12. Speaking of Wolf, he's shedding like a mad dog and it's hard to keep up!
13. Who am I kidding...I haven't cleaned the house in a month.
*[Daily horoscope: You need a band of merrymakers to get you out of this rut -- and more specifically, out of your house. Call up a friend or two you haven't seen in a while. They'll have just the plan to get your body moving.]

So, wait. Dad doesn't want to take care of the dogs, or you don't want dad to take care of the dogs?

We see the surgeon today and I'll call you. I hope we can come on Sunday as it's supposed to be a nice day. I say Bull to your neighbor. That tree is on your property!

I love to help you out with Maxie and Wolfie again but I'll be gone on my cruise as well. I'm sure your friends wouldn't mind helping you out...

PS my Thursday Thirteen are up :)

I've been doing the withdrawing thing lately too - even from family. It must be in the water...

Maybe Max and Wolf would like to visit his "adopted" aunties in NJ!!!!!!!

I said that about lost too!

I want to see Japan again too, we should go!

I've heard really great things about Lost, but I've never seen it. I think I'm going to have to get it on DVD or something. Is that even possible? My 13 are up!

I LOVE "My Name Is Earl". Don't tell anyone...Earl reminds me of my uncle. Shhh!
They're up!

Yea, when IS that Hobbit movie going to come out??? I hope Ian McKellen is recast as Gandalf again. He was awesome.

My Name is Earl has surprisingly grown on me. I love it too.

My 13 are up.

Unfortunately I think your patience is going to run out before Jackson gets around to making the Hobbit. Sounds like he's taking a long break. The only project I've heard about is exec. producing the Halo movie. Not that I want to burn him out, but we need regular yearly PJ epics!

My father-in-law's neighbor forced him to take his tree down because it was interfering in their yard. :o( Annoying anal-retentive people.

I too love Lost and Earl! They're two of my very favorite shows!

oooh, the Hobbit. if you ever need a rather lame-ass (my words) merry maker, i'm your man (umm, woman)... if you ever need an underage (4 year old) merry maker, Cam's your man (err, boy)

tell your neighbor that whomever does the work (or pays for it) gets the bread/tree (little red hen story here!) Did he pay for or cut up the tree? No? Then NO WOOD! Jerk!

I hope you find a stellar pet sitter so you can have a great vacation.

Hi Janet. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I thought that you might be like my DD & DH. Your posts seem like them.
Have you read Highly Sensitive People? There's also a website.
