The end of the ash

I came home to find 3 guys with chain saws (blocking the driveway, I might add) cutting up the tree into manageable chunks. When I asked him how much he was taking, he said Dad had agreed he could have half of it.

Seriously, what a dick. You know he's selling it...taking money away from an 82 year old. Nice.

Hmmm...if the tree was on HIS property, how come WE had to rake all the leaves???

Oh well...

That house is gorgeous--as are the pictures. Makes that pill of a guy easier to swallow.

The guy carting away the tree - no comment.

The smile in the tree - priceless.

So what's the story here?

nice neighbors...NOT!

Sorry your neighbor is being a jerk...if it was on his property as well he should be sharing the payment for getting it removed.

I'm also sorry about the tree. I love trees and its sad when they have to go.

There is a great young adult book called Ida B. by Katherine Hannigan that came out last year in which the young protagonist talks to trees. Its very good.
