Took this shot at the WWII Memorial when I went to DC last week. Funny how the sky mirrored the granite. While there, I decided I'd take Dad down in the springtime, he was in WWII and would love to see the Memorial. I'd like it to be when the cherry trees are in bloom, but we'll see.
As I said to Megan yesterday, I ... oh, crap, I said I wasn't going to talk about work here. Ok. Um...
Hmmm...well, sleep's been eluding me lately. Nothing definite keeping me awake...it's a bit frustrating.
I ordered a xxdirty vodka martini tonight; I received a vodka & gin martini. Figured it was a sign from Mom, so I drank it anyway (she loved gin, I hate it; still, maybe she wanted to enjoy one thru me...*shrugs*).
There's a bunch of movies out I want to see: King Kong, Casanova, Narnia, Good Night and Good Luck, & Cache (Hidden) to name but a few. Anyone want to go?

Then Cheers to Mom......
I'll go!!!!
Cheers to mom!
Isn't the WWII memorial stunning? I was really moved by it.
You haven't seen Narnia yet? Is good.
I think you are still grieving. Don't stress too much about the lack of sleep. It'll come in time. Be kind to yourself!
I'm sure it's the stress of everything going on. Listen to MB, she's a wise soul ;) I'll have to check out those movies. I still have to see Brokeback Mt.
Heading home today so we will have to catch up soon. What's the dillio with work? Anything new or more of the same?
Will give you a call tonight. Sorry this was more of an email than a comment. I like the photo though!
who's the chick with the large a$$?
Michele sent me, have a great day!
Yes, without the person in the picture it would be a very monochromatic picture...looks like a cool memorial.
I hope you get some restful sleep soon. I'd go to a movie with you but i'm a little far. :(
Narnia, sunday?
