I thought I'd be done in a day...not turning out that way! The pictures I'm finding, the art is just amazing. Today I found a photograph of my Grandmother, taken on her wedding day--amazingly gorgeous!
I want to thank, again, everyone who has sent flowers, plants, food and also those who have signed Mom's online Guest Book...it's nice to read people's memories of her. Today, my cousin Rikki, whom I haven't seen or spoken to in years said:
"Uncle Betty will be missed here, but my Mom and Dad will be very happy to see her - they've been waiting for some more company up there."
I can see them now, popping a beer, sipping a gin & tonic and waving their cigarettes around.
Mom would have loved a sip of this concoction Megan and I came up with the other night (my first batch of homemade blueberry vodka, some Bailey's and a bit of half & half:
Did any of you see Barbara Walter's special on Heaven last night? So many religions, so many definitions of what heaven is. I found it amazing that 90 percent of people think there is a heaven and that most of the religions agree it's a place where one is happy and peaceful.
I STILL need to finish my Christmas shopping...help!
