Don't forget ... the Friday Fill-Ins are over here now!
1. The last good thing that came in the mail was a Halloween card from Lisa (thanks, Lisa, and yes, the new tat is still a bit itchy!).
2. This week I'm grateful for the amazingly good review I got at work and the pretty damn good raise (especially compared to previous years).
3. Trio of Foie Gras (an appetizer at Todd English's Tuscany) is the most delicious thing ever.*
4. The Dalai Lama inspires me.
5. I'm most happy when I go hiking in the woods with the dogs.
6. And all the roads we have to walk along are never straight and narrow.
7. As for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing, tomorrow my plans include dinner and a movie and Sunday, I want to see Halloween Pace Event at Great Brook (horses & riders in costume)!
*it features ash brushed goat cheese, prosciutto, fig and plum jam, frisse and tangerine honey. O.M.G., SO good!

Many congrats on the great review and raise! That's always good news.
Oh I miss getting Halloween cards- my grandmother always sent cards for every holiday- even St.Patricks day.
Have a great weekend!
Way to go on the praise and raise, woman. Enjoy your weekend and send me some of that foie gras.
Does walking in the woods with the dogs make you happier than walking on the beach?
yay! you totally deserved a raise! We have to make plans to go to Tuscany SOON! Really soon!
That's a great list, Janet! I'm glad you liked the card. It seemed so you that I had to buy it. It kept following me around the store. ;)
My tattoo isn't too itchy anymore. And my allergy shot isn't itchy either (the two combined to WAY ITCHY for 2 days). Yay for that.
Thanks for stopping by :) Congrats on that review and raise!! Ooohh, that appetizer does sound awfully good.
what? a raise? when are we going to dinner?
Ooh a raise?! That's awesome! :D Congrats!

I bet you are excited for all the halloween events as the big day approaches!
Congrats on the review and raise. Well done you!
I have had your most delicious thing served as an "amuse bouche"....it was served in a single serving teaspoon as an appetizer....and yes, it was wonderful!!
