Here's last Wednesday's picture:

And this is what it was cropped from:

Some little critter nibbled one of the plum tomatoes from my garden!
Ok, I'll admit...this one was pretty gross!!! To me, it looked like an empty eye socket *shudder*
My cousin, Mel, was the first to get it right: A tomato !!!!"
Also:
Jo: "...A tomato. perhaps one bitten by a squirrel or a worm." She's a chef, she should know!
L-Squared: "...makes me think of a slice of tomato in a salad..."
Bob-kat: "...I'm going with tomato with the seeds removed."
Robin: "A tomato! No wait - it's a roasted pepper! (she ultimately went with roasted pepper, but I'll give her credit ;-)
Laurie L.: "I believe it is a tomato, possibly munched on by a slug or snail"
As always, thanks for playing! By the way, all photos used in What Is It Wednesday are marked as "private" in my flickr account...that's so no one can view the picture at a bigger size to get a better look!

An insect's wing
Something sticky with stuff stuck on it...it's the best I got this week!
It's one of Hogwart's selkies speaking Mermish in Loch Lomond.
If I can't be right then at the very least I must be creative. ;-)
Water. Shadow. Green reflection. Together they make...... haha, no idea. Looks like spray from something dropped in the water as well.
It's you in green clothes dropping a rock into a pool.
a clear glass salad bowl with poppy seed dressing ane lettuce inside
Even after seeing the whole tomato pic I still think it looks very icky! :-)
This week....hhmmm...my first thought was some sort of insect wing, like a dragonfly maybe.
Butterfly wing.
looks like a spray of water thru foggy eye glasses!!
A moth's wing.
It's clearly an alien at the (frosted glass) door . With their hand up. Y'know, like ET Go Home, but in green.
Looks to be the result of pepper in the nose followed by the expulsion of said pepper...with some snot thrown in for good measure.
Or maybe a vagina. ;)
is it Gauguin's "Tahitian Girl In Saran Wrap"
Its the enormous, tree-encompassing web of a hideous, giant spider-alien.
cellophane over a salad?
