The weekend, with pictures

Friday, I got my hair taken care of. No, I didn't go silver. Not brave enough yet, I guess. Got a lovely shade of dark honey and platinum-y highlights.

Saturday: Went to Sephora, where they were offering free foundation consultations. I got a mini-facial from a Dr. Perricone rep; fantastic stuff, but so.damn.pricey.!!! Then a Stila rep did my makeup. Got many compliments from friends at the wedding I went to that evening, as they're not used to seeing me wear much makeup at all :-)

Took 200+ pictures at Krista's wedding; of course, I like only about 5 of them LOL! Since the bride & groom haven't seen any of the shots, I really shouldn't share ... but ... oh, well, here. They go from this:

Sunday, I relaxed, tried to catch up on sleep, reading, cleaning, etc. My brother and I took Dad out to lunch; new-ish Italian place...NOT very good at all. Overcooked pasta, not so tasty sauce, frozen veal & fish; as my brother said, when you're served cold bread that should be served warm, you know that what's to follow won't be so good either. As none of us had come CLOSE to finishing the meal (I think the staff knew better than to ask, "Was everything ok?"), we all went for an ice cream for dessert at a local dairy farm:

(look at it with your head tilted to the right, it won't look so much like the Leaning Tower of Pisa that way!)

When I got home, I finished working on the wedding photos. Phew!

How was your weekend?

I like the honey color, too, Janet. Personally, I think you're too young for silver!
I haven't been to the Sephora counter yet, the prices have kept me away. But I wouldn't turn down a free makeover, or facial from them either,LOL.

Loved the black and white photo, too. B&W always looks so timeless and romantic. Beautiful pics here!

Did little Bonbon get to go to the wedding, too?

Wonderful photos ~ I absolutely love the B&W one. So romantic!
I love your hair the dark honey with highlights, though, silver done in the right way could be a cool look! I am thinking of doing a makeover. I actually am in need of a whole body overhaul! LOL
My weekend was B-O-R-I-N-G....Zzzz.

I love your hair. :) And the wedding photos you posted.

I had a nice weekend, but then I got sick. So now I'm going back to bed.

I love your hair. You look smashing! I did my once annual hair thing on Friday too.

The wedding pictures are great! Black and white is always a classic but I love the lighting in the other shot too. Very warm and personal feeling. You're very good at that! :-)

My weekend was good, but went by far too quickly....as usual.

I love the farm picture and the black and white picture of the Bride and Groom.
Your hair looks great! I had a recent email from a friend, (who had seen my recent photos) that was almost insulting about MY "Gray" hair. I sent her back a nice, but strong email letting her know that she was rude. I love my hair, my hubby loves it so that is just right for me.

Your hair looks so fantastic the color you had it done. I love it! The photos you took are beautiful and I am sure the bride and groom will be thrilled....if they ever decide to come back from their honeymoom.

Is that the Alfalfa farm I see off of 128? Do they also server ice cream?
