I took Dad to the wedding of his "adopted" granddaughter today. As we were driving down the highway, we noticed the sky was getting dark and saw a couple flashes of lightning. Cool, right?

The wedding was outside.

Outside...by a lake.

And the wind started blowing

And no one cared :-)

Hopefully, they'll live happily ever after :-)

I've heard that if it rains on your wedding day it is good luck. At least no one was going to be super hot if it was windy heh.

Wind or no wind, that was a beautiful wedding. I love the bridesmaids' dresses she chose!!

LOL, look at the Bride's veil, poor thing! We were married on the hottest day of the year, and the next day, the headlines in the newspaper were in bold print with the news about the heat. It was an outdoor reception and all our guests were soaked, too, from the heat!
I especially liked the last photo with the umbrella covering them. Here's to a long, happy marriage, come what may. ;)

I love all the pictures - esp the veil flying straight out. They looked like they had a good sense of humor about it!
