Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.
Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.
This new day is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the yesterdays. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
I saw this quote recently, over here, and I want to post it somewhere were I will see it every day.

Life is short...enjoy the ride!

Thanks, I needed that reminder. It's a wonderful quote that I need to keep close at hand.
Now let's see what I can do to make this day the best day of the year!
Lovely reminder.
And apparently we're both feeling quotey today :)
You are so right.
I love this line: Write it on your heart. It inspires me!
very inspirational......
I went to read that post too & I cut & pasted the same quote into my personal stuff- Isn't it wonderful?
I saw that quote and thought it was great!
"Finish every day and be done with it." Only if it's a shitty day. Days like last Sunday should be held on to forever. :)
Beautiful poem...I am printing it out now and wonderful dog :)
"You have done what you could...."
That line really hit home for me. Some days, I feel so frustrated, and this poem is all about forgiving yourself and learning to let live.
I'm really glad you posted this, Janet. I'm going to print it up.
And the dog pic with the message? So true!! good one. :)
