Here's last Wednesday's picture:

Jenn was the first of MANY to get it right; yup, it was a staple remover. Am I the ONLY one that thought it looked like vampire fangs? Sigh...
The funniest comment was a toss up between Wil "Before I read the comments I was wracking my brain for what type of Vice-Grips these might be from. But it IS obviously a staple remover, dang it." and Michele "It's a staple remover. (You will note that I only play when I know what it is. Or at least am fairly certain I know.)".
I just flat out disappointed Lisa: "... I have to say I hope you tricked us all and it is nothing to do with staples or the removal therof." ROFLMAO!
Also funny, in a less ironic sense, were the following:
Jules: "Or it could be Edward Scissorhands' fingers."
Heather: "...Or a steel dragon's teeth!"
Laura: "ummm....is THAT what you used to pierce you nipple with??????" [ed. note: neither one is pierced, I DO have my limits!]
my cousin, Mel, who always makes up the best stories: "Please don't let this leak out to anyone, but it is the teeth of ONE WHO SHAll REMAIN NAMELESS. They are able to fly out into the air and attack on their own, razor sharp, strong as a bear trap, hard as steel and a real challenge for HP when he fights and defeats his greatest enemy with his most powerful magic trick ever, ( in the last book, of course)."
my other cousin and Mel's younger sister, MB: "I told you to get that dental work done for Wolf!"
Shirley: "That's Snape's teeth when he transmogrifies and accidentally does the spell wrong and gets sent into the future where robots have replaced most people and he becomes a sort of robot monster wizard...".
As always, thanks for playing! By the way, all photos used in What Is It Wednesday are marked as "private" in my flickr account...that's so no one can view the picture at a bigger size to get a better look!

Ice from a rum and coke.
Or something entirely different like a lump of quartz.
It looks like the type of quartz that's inside a geode when you crack it open, but its the wrong shape, so I'm not sure.
A crystalized thestral dropping...but however did you find it??
The more I look at it the more I can see the left side of some creature's face. It could be Wolf all lathered up in the bath. Or a yeti.
Ha, is there a limit on the number of guesses?
That looks like one of the T-Rex's noggins from King Kong only he's been sleeping in an ice storm. Poor frozen T-Rex head.
A geode?
that looks like frozen remnants of a head of a pre-historic creature!
Youre gonna be in BIG trouble for having that!
A geode.
AHHHH! it's obviously part of one of the skeletons in your closet!
=)
I am going with a cross section cut of some type of fish.
Looks to me like something crystalline. The interior of a geode maybe, or a chunk of crystallized salt.
A dessicated fish?
Well I have told you to clean out the sugar bowl a little more frequently -- this is what ends up when you conmbine salt, sugar and water. What a pretty crystal.
Geode.
Where did you find the Unicorn poop? Where's the rest of it? Why can't *I* see the Unicorn?
Geode, silly. ;)
As it's already the 22nd here I'll jump in with a
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday dear Janet/Percy/Mrs Jack
Happy Birthday to you
Shale?
Happy Birthday! I hope you are having a blast in Vegas. And I also hope the fact that the thing I wrote down for you still comes true, and that I didn't accidentally throw it on myself. Not that I'm upset about that, I just want it for you too.
Happy Birrrrrrrrrrrthdayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Hey! Happy Birthday you...I hope your having a great one. We await the tales.
So far I have been on the other side of the pond when talkning about a right answer.
Thats why I propose, this time. a photo from North America.
It looks more like a crystal than a toe.
Well you see, how stupid we still are here in Europe - left overs.
hugs from the Summerhouse - wow we have heavy rainfalls.
Be happy
Ok, this is a head shot of the Greater Blind Icefish, found at great depths in the Arctic Ocean.
singing:They say it's your birthday!
