Thirteen Things I love that begin with the letter E

1. Eggs: Over easy, scrambled with salsa, devilled...YUM!

2. Earl: That damn tv show, My Name is Earl is SO funny!

3. Elucidate: Love the way it sounds and what it means

4. Elf: Oh, I love Tolkien's Elves...especially Legolas :-)

5. Eclairs: Mmmm, yummy!

6. Ecstasy: What's not to like about that? And I don't mean the drug :-)

7. English muffins: About the only time I drink milk is if I have an english muffin with peanut butter.

8. Elderberries: Never had one, but I read about them and heard about them in songs and they sound good!

9. Emmental: A lovely French cheese, similar to swiss...

10. Elocution: Alan Rickman!

11. Echo: It's fun to hear echos of your voice in a canyon ... and I once knew a dog named Echo who was really cute!

12. Eloquent: Something I would love to be, and I love way that word rolls off the tongue.

13. Epicure: "A person devoted to sensuous pleasure and luxurious living"; sounds good to me!

I LOVE English muffins. I use them to make mini pizzas in a toaster oven. Cut them in half, broil them inside up until toasty, add a favorite pizza sauce and cheese, broil until cheese is melted. It makes a great snack!

Thank you for stopping by my website. I love your Thirteen!

Mmmm, eclairs. I adore the little mini frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store. With a little chocolate or some sort of fruit puree, yummy!

I just got done reading Trina's TT about 13 alphabets she hates (one of which is E), come over here, and what do I find? No less than someone speaking up for poor old E. I like elves too, particularly Legolas.

Legolas, mmm. Bet he pops up again when you get to L.
I'm going to have try harder with mine, make them more interesting.

I like your e-words! I had to look up elucidate, but when I read the translation the word made sense. :-)
Thanks for visiting my handbag TT!

Deviled eggs - yum! And my kids love echos. My husband unfortunately taught them that they can shout loudly in the lobby of our building for a great echo. I'm sure the neighbors are thrilled...

Happy TT.

Words with E sound elegant to me. Did you ever play the game "E my name is Edna my husband's name is Earl. We come from Edinbourough and we make easter eggs!?

Posted by colleen at March 15, 2007 9:15 AM

mmmm... it's been forever since i had devilled eggs.

Posted by Dawn at March 15, 2007 10:26 AM

There are so many yummy "e" items it seems.

Posted by Amanda at March 15, 2007 11:03 AM

I like your e-words. This alphabet thing is so much fun I might do it also, but not til you get to G.

Elderberries always make me think of "Arsenic and Old lace" and poisoning people.

Why, no, I'm not dark at all :)

I was just thinking about deviled eggs this morning!!! Great list as always, Janet!

Happy TT!

Great list! I'm a huge fan of anything Alan Rickman does, but the way he speaks is mesmerizing! Happy Thursday and thanks for visiting!

My Name Is Earl is definetly an awesome 'E' thing! I like Randy the best! He's so sweet... and he like Mad Libs :D

Posted by HighlandAmy at March 15, 2007 3:17 PM

Well, this is creative! I might have to borrow the idea. :) I've never seen Earl or had elderberries or emmental. Love eggs, éclairs, ecstasy, elves, and English muffins. And I would love to be more eloquent. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Posted by Barbara H. at March 15, 2007 4:07 PM

I'm hungry now, thanks! Not so sure about Earl, but the rest could easily be on my list! Alphabet is a great idea.

Posted by Marcia at March 15, 2007 8:07 PM

I have to say that I have never seen My Name is Earl but I could kind of pass on it (from what the ads show)... I am sticking to Grey's Anatomy and House! (and now lost!)

Posted by Amy at March 16, 2007 9:06 PM
