Thirteen Things I Love that begin with the letter D

1. Dogs: My dogs, Wolf and Max, my friend's dogs...most dogs (except Akitas, sorry, they scare me! And any dog colored brindle...they scare me too!)

2. Delight: It's so much fun to be delighted!

3. Decorate: I love to decorate, and I love decorations!

4. Dreams: Where would we be without our dreams?

5. Dandelions: I know they're weeds, but they're so sunny!

6. Disappear: Sometimes, it's good when things disappear ;-)

7. Dabble: I dabble in photography...and a few other things

8. Deju vu: This happens to me ALL the time!

9. Dessert: Good, especially if it's a cheese plate!

10. Depp, Johnny: Yup, I'm fitting him in twice! Man...I'd love to talk to him, he seems like such an interesting man.

11. Dominatrix: My friend, MaryEllen, can tell ya all about that!

12. Diaphanous: Love the imagery of that word

13. Darlin': Only sounds good when a southern man drawls it :-)

Diaphanous is Definitely a DanDy! It is inDeed a Delight to Daddy's Roses! I've always loved the sound of the word, too. My TT is also posted.

According to my letter studies, D is the letter of one set apart. The letter of descent and time alone. Think of all the people you know whose name starts with D. Do they have that quality?

This is such a good format...I should adopt something like this...you're like the Sue Grafton of TT's. I love that you posted a word you love"diaphanous" oh I'm sure I butchered the spelling of that word just now.

I am very curious about dominatrix you nimble foxx you! I bet there is a good story for that one. I think it would be a scary job but I love the clothes!!!

My list is week #30, and it's um erp, yeah long but I put up some pics of my "to be red" pile of books almost all brand new...so I'm excited. I almost started reading Hannibal Rising like you did last week or so in the book store...but I couldn't find a copy ha ha!

I also love dogs but not Johnny Depp ! I prefer his wife Vanessa Paradis, who was a very famous singer in all french speaking countries everybody knows her over here. It's a pitty that she doesn't sing anymore because of Depp. A lot of people are sad about that.

Whenever I hear the word diaphanous, I always think of sleeves on dresses from historical romance novels. Although, I recently had the opportunity to say the word in regular conversation while discussing material for drapes. It was fun, but I'm a geek like that.

Fun, creative list. :) I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, but I can understand why people love their dogs. And Depp does seem like a really interesting individual. I'm sure he's be fascinating to speak with!

Dessert is probably my favorite thing that start with a D, and it is way before the other things!!! I have a sugar tooth, so that might explain why!!

Dandelions are beautiful, if somewhat of a nuisance. And winter is hanging on so long here in Nova Scotia, I can't wait to see the pesky things! Nice list. :)
