I was supposed to go take pictures of Michelle's dog Marley, swimming in a pool today, but I was overcome with the urge to go to the beach and man, am I glad I did! The tide was the absolute highest I've ever seen it there...barely any beach to walk on and usually, there's LOTS! The waves were so big that two surfers showed up to contemplate surfing, and that's not something I've EVER seen there. Dad came along for the ride, and had a good time watching the waves, dogs and people milling about.

Michelle, next time, I swear! I missed seeing you and the Marleydog!

I can almost feel the mists hitting my face...I would love to be standing there staring into those waves!

i so need to get to the beach! it's been so long! and i know Freya-lou would love it! and you could come and take pictures and we could stop for yummy-greazy fried foods and ice cold sodas (rum optional) and a fun time would be had by all!

This photo inspired me to take Lily to the beach and I was so excited! Unfortunately it was too cold today! :( Maybe next monday!
