Create a Connection: Getting to know you

Jana is the Getting to Know You hostess. This week, her last, she says: After a month of giving you all nice themed questions, my inner ADHD child rebelled and insisted that we ask questions that we REALLY REALLY wanna know about our fellow bloggers! So here are our completely and totally random questions for you:

What did YOU eat last? I just had a cherry starburst and it was yummy!

What about YOUR love life? Anyone special? Tell us about him/her! No one special, not in the sense that you mean...but that's ok!

What is it like where you live? I live in a little, VERY old house (1800s), with a big back yard, lots of trees and a garden, on a busy street.

What are YOUR favorite features about yourself? Hmmm...my knack of not getting my feathers ruffled easily...and being up for just about anything!

What deep thoughts have YOU been pondering upon? Mostly things to do with finances; how I feel I'm FINALLY on the right track and that I'm considering purchasing a vacation home with a friend.

List 2 random things you love about life: I love the unexpected, and I love brussels sprouts!

How did YOU find out about CAC? I found out about CAC thru DebR; she's always got such cool things on her blog!

What do YOU love most about spring? All the flowers in bloom!

I like brussel sprouts, but if asked to name two things I LOVE ABOUT LIFE, I don't think I would ever say brussel sprouts. Clearly, you REALLY love brussel sprouts.

What did YOU eat last? Fish & chips!

What about YOUR love life? Anyone special? Tell us about him/her! He's the Boy. What more can I say? ;)

What is it like where you live? I live in a small but pleasant condo on a little cul-de-sac in one of the yuppiest parts of Toronto.

What are YOUR favorite features about yourself? My free and unabashed nerd-ery. One of the few things about myself about which I am completely confident and feel no shame or fear.

What deep thoughts have YOU been pondering upon? Whether it matters, ultimately, what others think of me - even if the others are responsible for big changes (or lack thereof) in my career.

List 2 random things you love about life: Sunny afternoons in spring, and the smell of a library.

How did YOU find out about CAC? This is the first I have heard of it. ;)

What do YOU love most about spring? The flowers, I'd have to say. I do love them so.

*perks up*....Vacation home?

Posted by Laura at March 28, 2007 3:01 PM

I knew your home was old but I didn’t know it was that old- how cool! The way you’ve ranted and raved about brussel sprouts, I really must try them!

I’ve decided to join in on the fun today as I’ve been admiring your CAC stuff for a while now.

1)Turkey breast and cheddar cheese slices YUM!
2)Someone special yes, my live in boyfriend Stagg. He is also an artist and our living room is actually a studio-no couch!
3) I live in an older(1940's) urban apartment, one bedroom sort of spanish style next to a fantastic urban archeology salvage company. Lots to look at out back, like gothic spires, bank facades all for sale.
4) I'm funny and positive and love talking to people and listening. I'm a good listener. I got a lot of love in my heart ha ho!
5) writing a script has got me into a brain scrunch does that count?
6) I love coffee and beaches. As a matter of fact, I love having coffee on the beach!
7) I don't have a clue what CAC is...I'm just answering questions.
8) I love the longer days I feel more energy!

hey I am having a survey on my blog...about art and art in the home and decorating and thinking...?

A few questions I hope you and your pals will come check it out...

Your considering buying a vacation home? Do tell!

Amazing! Someone in the world does like brussel sprouts. I didn't think it was true. ;)

And congratulations on getting your finances on track!

* A Turkish roll, still warm from the oven, smothered in spinach and pine nut dip and coffee. (Breakfast, yum)
* No one special, though I still have a soft spot for my ex. Sadly.
* Two-storey timber house at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges. Lots of trees.
* Hmmm, I'm not all that keen on myself at the moment. I like my taste in music.
* Finances - mine are a mess. And how to make the bookshop more profitable.
* Two random things I love about life - stuff that makes me laugh. My nieces/nephews.
* Found out about CAC here.
* Spring: blossoms and other flowers; more blue, less grey.

"Turkish Bread - Herb & Garlic Roll A traditional, rustic roll with a golden exterior & light, airy texture. Topped with a sprinkling of mixed herbs & garlic. Ideal as a side with any meal or eaten on their own." (haha, the Bakers Delight blurb).
Turkish bread is basically a flat bread but the rolls are risen and sprinkled with herbs and garlic. I'm addicted to them at the moment.

I like brussel sprouts when my bro makes 'em. I haven't had any prepared by anyone else since I was a kid though.

My CAC is on my own blog. I figured I would post something there. ;)

Vacation home? Ooooh, where? And when? And should I be packing for warm weather now, or in winter? ;)

I didn't know you were looking at a vacation home??? That is great!!! You deserve a nice retreat!

Ooohhhhhhh a cherry starburst? Those are yummy!!!

There is a picture of James un-geled but still kinda sexy hair here on my blog: http://janasjourneys.blogspot.com/2007/01/art-adhd-pics.html It's sexier with gel though!

I usually love the unexpected about life too... keeps me on my toes! lol
