Technology =

Orpheum Theater, Boston
I took this picture inside the Orpheum Theater in Boston during a Ray Davies concert back in March of last year. Back in its heyday it was a grand old place, as you can tell by the beautiful ceiling. Now it's decaying...the velvet seats are worn and dingy...but wow, that ceiling! Oh, and to tie it into the "Technology" theme, I took this shot with my camera phone! Technology is a wonderful thing :-)

The technology is not only your phone, but also the ceiling, architecture belongs also to technology. The picture is wonderful !

Beautiful! An example of the technology of architecture as well as the modern technology of camera phones! Sorry to hear that the place is deteriorating. So sad when beautiful old buildings aren't kept up.

Have a good weekend!

With your camera phone? Wow!

Awesome photo! I'm always distracted by my surroundings when I attend anything at a theater like that.

Your camera phone pics are MUCH better than mine. I'm impressed. I'm soon to be phone shopping and thinktechnology has improved alot since my phone.

This must be a really gorgeous place! I love old places like this, so full of character- and photo ops.

My camera phone pictures stink! What's your secret? ;-)

That was a very clever tie combining the old ceiling with your cameraphone.

Brilliant and innovative.

Oh how pretty!
I haven't been to the Orpheum in years, (Joan Jett & The Blackhearts- 1985) I had forgotten how beautiful the ceiling is.
