Shiba Inu fur is VERY plush, very thick and ... they blow their coats twice a year, which means they go from a very thick, heavy coat to almost bare...like a doberman or other similar thin coated breed.

Shibas have the cutest Wolf like faces. Of course, Wolf is the most photogenic of all the shibas I think! He's probably learned a lot of modeling. ;)

My dog growing up had the major shedding in the spring and we used to brush her and watch all the birds grab the clumps of fur for their nests.

I'm still thinking of learning how to spin so I can make all of Wolf's fur into yarn, and then knit a scarf for you :) I hear dog hair is awesomely warm.

Wolf is truly a charmer! In my book...he would win America's "Top Model", hands down...ahem...I mean paws down! LOL
