1. Plum Island Wild Life Refuge; the only thing I dislike about it is they don't allow dogs
2. Salisbury State Beach Reservation; they allow dogs! In the off season, of course :-)
3. Aquatini; yummy food & drinks
4. Maribeth's house; I always feel welcome there
5. My bed, with my extraordinary comfy pillow that I take with me on every vacation!
6. Cemeteries...they're so peaceful!
7. Great Brook Park; I discovered it when I got Max back in 1997...I might have known about it back in the day but I think I've blocked out alot of stuff. Don't know why!
8. Harvard Square, particularly Grendels, but also Cardullos and just walking around.
9. Megan's beautiful chair; I swear I'll figure a way to steal it!
10. Calvin's arms; it felt like home.
11. Sapporo and Otaru, cities in Hokkaido, Japan; Sapporo reminded me very much of Boston; Otaru, for it's beauty
12. My car; great seats and an awesome stereo
13. Meeting folks in real life that I got to know from blogging; without exception, the ones I connect with via my blog I also connect with when we meet.

I've been to Harvard Square, but not in many years. I used to go there a lot in college. No, not that one -- mine was 72 miles away!
The beach........
I find cemeteries very serene. It can be a quiet place of reflection. Now on the other hand...my car seat is lacking, whereas my car stereo is even more lacking...I need to "Pimp My Ride" seriously...where is Xibit when you need him! LOL
I have a VSP too (Very Special Pillow) :)
We have a lovely, hug park near our house too, and we love to hike through there. The only problem is: they don't allow dogs.
So I feel your pain.
My TT's up--13 concerts I've seen, and the (sometimes amusing) stories that go along with them.
This is a good idea for a list!!
I travel with my pillows too!!
I am kind of scared of cementaries. I don't even know of anyone even buried in one, everyone I know has been cremated. I've never really been to one with all the neat statues you've been to though!
And you know, no matter what, we always LOVE having you too!!!
I'd love to see you try and steal that chair!
I always feel comfortable in your car. Well, I shouldn't say always - there was that one time... ;)
There is almost nothing that beats a comfy chair, especially for reading and watching movies. I love my big leather chair and ottoman that we bought a few years ago. I support you in your plans for theft. Go for it.
I don't know why but I thought you said "Salisbury Steak Park" ...
Babcock State Park in WV is nice .. we just went there for a weekend. The dogs were welcome - but it rained so they didn't get out much. We are planning on going back next Spring.
what a great idea!
i'm not a huge fan of cemeteries but they are peaceful!
i love my couch..i fall asleep on it almost every night and then fiance has to try to wake me up and get me into bed :-)
I don't know if I agree with the cemetery, that's a little scary lol.. but I do feel at ease inside churches, or cathedrals.
I also love my bed, with the bedside lamp on.. ahhh I could go there right now :=)

Hmmm... I've read a lot about Plum Island, didn't know they had a nice preserve there, too! Not what I was reading about, I guess.
Okay, going to check out the links now...
I also enjoy beaches where I can take my dog. The beach is relaxing for me and the pup can run around and work out all his energy.
I will attest to the traveling pillow which accompanies us, sometimes in its very own suitcase. It does have a wicked snoring problem though.
Oh I found you again! I couldn't reember the name of your blog exactly, only that I really liked it, and I just tripped over you now at another blog doing TT. Yippee! So I have added you to my blog roll.
I love these kinds of spaces on earth like you have listed...parks or reserves where it feels like we have no age or problems..peaceful or emotionally moved by nature.
Great list, I love a park in the Pacific Northwest of Canada...called Pacific Rim National Park, particularily the beach and rainforest there.
My TT list is up, it's 13 things about being goth.

Hands down my bed would win as my most comfy place to bed!
I've got a couple of chairs I'm fond of myself. ;) Actually our new couch is about the comfiest damn thing...SO nice. If you're ever in Toronto you can drop by and give it a try. ;)
My bed! I think its all i can think about since im oogy!
I like visiting cemetaries too. Me and my Sea used to go to one down the road a lot where there's a pretty water fountain in the pond with a little white bridge. I know the cemetaries up there must be really cool/creepy ~ near Salem ~ the witch trials and all(?). I want to visit sooo badly!
I definitely love my room...even if it's small and all. Cemeteries...yes peaceful but sometimes, creeps me out. But there are beautiful cemeteries out there...anyway, my TT is up, drop by if u can =)
wait- Plum Island- isn't that where they were going to send Hannibal Lecter? have a great Thursday, Janet!!
I've not yet met a fellow blogger in person. I know I'd be nervous about it, but I hope it happens someday! (I'm very shy in person and not as much so in the blogosphere).
Alyssa
Great list. Happy TT!
Good thinking, an unusual T13!
Come on over and be comfortable with a piece of pink cake and a glass of Dom Perignon!
(OK, maybe more glasses if you don't throw cake ;-)
At the ocean. In the water, I'm home! I haven't been to Harvard Square in so long. I'd love to see it again. My first husband used to work at the Coop. Is it still there?
I take my pillows with me on vacation too. But it's not because I love my pillow. I'm just worried about the pillows at hotels. Who know who's been on it. Or what they did on it. I have thought seriously about taking my own bedding too, but that might be a little obsessive. ;)
Great list...I brought my pillow with me to Montana!!! And any place that doesn't allow dogs doesn't thrill me.
♥Pam
I have to agree with you about cemeteries. I have visited them on occasion when I need a peaceful place to sit and seriously think. Thank you for your comments on my TT list this week!
