1. Wolf had his shiba friends over last night, one drink led to another and another and a dozen, and he ended up with the lampshade and a woman's stocking on his head! His friends said they had a good time tho!

2. Wolf got a boo boo on his paw, up inside past the pads of his feet, whether a bug bite, a piece of glass or a sharp rock, who knows. He, like a small child scratches a bug bite, licked and licked and licked until instead of healing, it became red, raw, inflamed & infected. Now he's on a course of antibiotics and a nice gentamicin spray which must go on three times a day, and in typical shiba fashion, he's already learned to run and hide when he sees the bottle.

Well Wolfie old pal.....I can tell you from experience that after some drinking, and being in possession of woman's stockings? your best tactic is deny, deny, deny......

At least if it WAS #1 Wolf could say it was a party wound; now he just has to wear a lampshade and leave the rest of us to wonder what the heck happened!

Could make for an interesting early Halloween costume if you put some lights on it!

Though #1 sounds like a lot more fun, I'll have to go with #2. Our dog has had to wear one of those a couple times ... she wasn't pleased!!

Oh, poor Wolf. I'd tell you to kiss his wittle paw for me, but since it's all red and infected...maybe not. Give him a hug for me instead. I'm curious to know how he's dealing with the...lampshade. A dog I had once was Houdini at getting those things off.

Poor Wolf. Hope he's better soon. He can't be happy looking like that in front of his friends, lampshade or no lampshade! lol

Considering that children often follow in the pattern of their parents and I have no doubt that at least once the pleasure of martinis has resulted in you having a lamp shade on your head I have got to believe that the first is the truth.

If its the second then I wish Wolf a speedy recovery.

Well if your pup is anything like my dogs...then I'd put my money on Number 1! Party animals! :)

Seriously...hope he heals up quickly. I know what a pain it is to keep those collars on a dog.

Awww, poor pup. My dog managed to crawl under a fence and escape while wearing one of those trauma collars, once. They're not fun for anyone. Hope the paw gets better soon.
