Random and Odd wants us to take a picture of our Muse:
1. SomeTHING (not someone) that inspires you to do what you do. (work, hobby, donate, create..whatever)
2. Something you dont like to read about on blogs. (yes, you can find a picture to describe this)
3. Something that inspires you to write on your blog (I just wrote plog...lol)
1. My inspiration to do what I do:

In my photography, my muse is nature; it's what I love to take pictures of most. To walk, to smell, see, touch, feel. I think if I sorted through my pictures on flickr, the majority would be of the ocean.
2. Something I don't like to read about on blogs :

Negativity, plain and simple. I realize it's an emotion most of us have felt from time to time, but nothing makes me click off a blog faster than that.
3. Something that inspires me to write on my blog:

Megan was the person who inspired me to start a blog; everyday life is what inspires me to keep going. Something as simple as an autumn leaf slowly fluttering to the ground can inspire me to write...about the beauty of fall, about Charlie Brown, about things I did with friends or family that revolve around this most beautiful season.
Thanks, Random and Odd, this was a challenge for me, and while I normally don't like challenges, I hope I did this one justice :-)

Awesome negativity pic. LOVE IT.
I think you have me hooked on random and odd. I'll stop over to her site on Monday and see what's listed for the week and then play along...too cool to pass up!
LOVED the pictures! And I agree on negativity being a turn-off.
So...let me ask you a quick question, if you will. Is it being negative, which I understand to mean, complaining/whining etc. or is it talking about a potentially controversial topic?

I love your take on the negativity! I'm with you on this issue. I get tired of persistent negative whining on some blogs. I usually just hit X and go on.
I like the way the clouds shine through the nature photo.. I'm more of an amateur nature photograher too, i'm just drawn to it. Beautiful photo! I'll go check out Megans site too. :)
I love that ocean shot. Gray and brooding and simply stunning. I miss the ocean so much; there's nothing else like it.
I pretty much agree with all of that...the day to day stuff can be totally inspiring...that last shot makes me think of the Three Stooges ;)
The first one fits me exactly! I feel the same way!!!!!!
nature and the ocean....two things I wish I spent more time with......*sigh*
thank you for explaining the second pic - i couldn't for the life of me figure out why you didn't like to read about mushrooms!
Love the photos (as always).
Negativity is hard to read. I do understand that sometimes people need to vent, because I do it too, but if that's all that's ever posted, then I usually don't go back.
The woman who started the Boobiethon is one of the my blog "parents". I loved the sense of community at her (now defunct) weblog and in the comments.
Happy weekend, woman!
I totally don't remember having that picture taken.
I love that last picture! :)
hey, we have something in common here with #1... awesome! you know i love your photos!
#2 is so true... i don't like negativity either.
#3 so glad megan inspired you to write ;)
I played - thanks for stopping by.
It's fun seeing everyone's interpretation today!
I played :)
I am so with you on #1! Love the pic!
I hope negativity isn't the same as venting -- I don't do it often but I do it once in a while. (Like this SPF.) ;-)
I played.
I always love it when you play SPF. Your pictures always move me in one way or another.
The first picture is very you, esp with the ocean!
I love the last one, hehe!!
I think you did it justice! The Monty Python picture is hilarious. I too try to shy away from negativity on blogs. I don't really care to do any political discussions, etc. on the internet and while I want to be encouraging to those who are hurting I don't want to spend alot of time reading about other people's hatred for their fellow man, etc.
