This was my favorite place to grab a crepe in all of Paris! On the way back from or to a bar, it's perfect for a quick fromage y jambon, oishii! It's located in the Latin Quarter...on a side street, not far from the Metro stop!

And cause you couldn't really SEE food in the above picture, here's a shot of nature's perfect food; honey! This is a small stand I see from time to time when I take the dogs to walk in the woods in Carlisle. The man leaves a box on the stand, you pay for the honey, take change if you need it and go on your way. It's damn good, too!

Wow, now that either requires a lot of faith, or he is keep a low budget on his overhead. lol If the honor system works that is truly wonderful! :)
Crepes! I love them. The salty ones are called galettes where we spend our winter vacation in France. The honey stand is precious!
Happy saturday and bon appetit!
Great photos! I love the little honey stand. Dani
Crepes! I've got to teach you to make them. Maybe at Thanksgiving we can do them for breakfast!
This isn't a play on words here.......but, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm sweet! Honey!! It is nature's PERFECT food.
Mine's posted.
Great shots both of them. I was just admiring your tattoos! Really nice. Any hoo, the bottom picture is really neat but I like the looks of the restaurant too! Great shots. Mine is up. Happy Saturday!
MMMMMM.....crepes.....I make them for breakfast all the time!!!
The honey stand is adorable!!!!
We have an old couple that has a stand set up like that with flowers that they pick from their own garden...same thing with the honor system......thats rare around here
Oh! Oh! That Boulangerie was not even 2 blocks from our us in Paris - we stopped there on the way to the Metro in the mornings!
Carlisle sounds like a wonderful place if the honour system works that well.
Great photos! Mine's up. Happy Saturday!
COOL honey stand....even if it's on a garbage can. ;0]

Ooo Paris! You have had that on your mind recently!!
I don't like real honey. Is that strange? I've even had honey fresh from a hive my neighbors had and it tastes to weird to me. But I want a hive someday, I think they are really cool!!
Love the honey stand...what a great idea. I agree, honey, perfect food!
Love the pics...especially of the honey stand. I came *this close* to posting a picture of a jar of honey this morning!
Have a great weekend...my PH is up, too!
I like honey and the picture is cute ! I also have some plates to offer if you like egyptian, turkish and other food !
Love the honey stand. There is/was a place around Lancaster, Pennsylvania that operated in the same way, only it was a celery stand. Best celery I have ever bought!
My photo is up!
mmmmm...fresh honey. There is something so seemingly wholesome about buying honey from a farmer's market or roadside stand.
love these pics! Looks yummy enough for me. mines up!
Cool Picture in Paris....
And Great Pic of the honey stand, Honey!

Now that is a very trusting man. But a cute honey stand.

What wonderful pictures! I can't wait to get to Paris some day! :)
Mine is up as well!
Both so romantic in their own ways!
That honey looks great!
My most favorite thing in the world is honey & peanut butter sandwiches!! I love honey!
Mmm. Crepes. Paris. When are we going? :)
Nice pics.
It is so great that folks can do business like that still!
I heard of a fishmonger in Nova Scotia Canada who does business like that, and he has never be robbed.
Great photos. I love the honey stand. Takes a lot of faith and trust to do business like that. Nice to see it still works.
That's a great night picture, especially since you captured the whole scene without a bright flash going off in the photo.
That's not an easy photo to take... great shot! Makes me want to walk right in. It's that cozy.
Love the honey pict too, just in time for fall!
I didnt play today, put up my other pictures instead, just goof off photos. Just didnt have a good foodie photo ready!
Wow - I've been there! We stayed in the Latin area too, right by the metro!
It was fabulous!
I love honey too, and the season with the new batch has just come out!
Love to buy it a stands along the back roads!
Great photos too!
Mine's up too - with recipe!!
How charming. I love it.
My post is up. :)
Mmmm...crepes! When we were there in March, it was so cold and rainy that I bought many crepes just to hold them in my hands to keep them warm.
(Well, not just for that.)
Anyway, since I'm not much of a photographer unless I'm on vacation, my pic's also from the same trip (as it was last week).
Thanks for asking about my Paris pics, Janet. I blogged a few entries about them, but never finished the rundown of the trip. But here is a link to one of the entries:

What a charming little bakery! (Mmm...crepes...one of the foods of the gods...)
Ham and cheese is indeed oishii. :) (There is something fun about those Japanese words that end in two "i"s. "Natsukashii" is great too...)
I actually stayed in the hotel above that very boulangerie when I was in Paris in January...and their crepes were definitely to die for as were their other treats!
