***UPDATED***
Can you see the lady's face in the water? My cousin, Mel, pointed it out to me!
In addition to my adventure in CT this weekend, I also did some yard work with Dad, we trimmed and cleaned and raked and beautified--it looks so good! It's frustrating to him that he can't do what he used to and he pushes himself. The result, as you can imagine, is he gets overheated or overtired, which isn't a good thing in the elderly. Plus he forgets to eat and so gets the low blood sugar, shaky thing.
Our mower kicked the bucket recently, so my brother brought his over and mowed the lawn for us earlier in the week, which is what inspired us to clean up the rest. Bro did a great job!
Took the dogs for a verrrrrrrrrrrry long walk in the woods yesterday (it's where I took the shot of the pond, above); Wolf was so tired from the walk that when he was done beginng for a bite of Dad's dinner (chicken cacciatore with mushrooms, and caribbean rice) he let me know he wanted to go upstairs and he passed OUT! He didn't even move when I came upstairs, usually he'll come see me (more to see if I have anything to eat with me, I suspect!). And he didn't wake me up at 6 am either. I can see wicked long walks are in his future!

Glad you had a fun filled weekend!!! Between the "Princess and the Tramp" and the long walk in the woods, it must have flown by.......:-)
Beautiful picture!
LOL. Snick and I did the same thing yesterday afternoon. One of our favorite dog runs is a little over a mile from home - we walked there, he played and played, and then we walked home and he PASSED OUT until this morning. Gotta love an exhausted dog!
Thats a beautiful shot.....
want me to come over and "mow" for you? I love doing the lawn!!!!
i love that picture. You take amazing pictures, I don't know why I'm surprised any more when I see them. Thanks for sharing!
Can you see the lady's face in the water? It was the first thing I noticed. Middle right. She is not smiling and has curly hair with what looks like a hat on too. Eyes are almost asian with a button nose.
Great photo!
I see her face -- looks like she is holding up one of those ginormous foam peace sign fingers.
Wow! That is really cool. Had you clicked a second or two earlier or later, you might not have captured that "face"!
I see it! For once, I can see something hidden in a picture! Glory, glory be!
beautiful shot, by the way, but all of your pics are tops. :)
Uh oh! Do I see an Ebay listing in your future? Weird that I didn't see this the first time I looked at it, but the next time I looked, it popped right out at me like it had been highlighted!
I'm not sure which face I'm seeing. It's like staring at the clouds and then all sorts of shapes form. But, I think she's in the middle, and yes I do think I see the foam sign that LOUP mentioned, lol.
You've got to sell this on ebay! you could make millions....
And it's a beautiful picture, even if you don't look for the lady in the water.
I hope your Dad is doing ok. Mine has the same problems :(
i see it! shes pissed because there is still stuff from her ex in her condo!
hahahhahha
I see it... but it looks like she's smiling :)
I see a face with a straight mouth; she looks like an angel. I see a couple other faces to the right with black faces and white hair like they are singing. Wow you can see all kinds of stuff in that photo. I'll have to take little Soma on one of those kinds of walks. hehe
OMG! That is soooooo cool.
I see it!!!
I wonder if she has Excalibur in her hand!
Cool! I see the face.
OMG, that's SO freakin' cool!!
I think i see it. upper left corner, right? But then, I still might be hungover from the blogwarming. ;)
It's just like kids. Wear 'em out, and they'll sleep!
Actually I was surprised that I found it so easily. If only it was Jesus in the water you'd be shot to sudden fame!!! ;)
Sounds like a satisfyingly productive weekend. Listening to you talk about your dad just reminds me that I'm not looking forward to being elderly. Better than dead, I guess, but still...
It was so beautiful out last night that we took Razz for a long walk and he was equally worn out when it was all over.
That's like when LilG had her trip to the Vet ER the other night, sleep slepts soundly for about 12 hours that night. It wore her out.
Also - my Dad was in your neck of the woods two weeks ago! Pretty cool, huh?
