Before I start, I just want to say that today is the first birthday I've had without my mother. And it feels weird.
Dad DID remember, and that made me smile :-)
Now on with the 13!
1. Overtly or covertly taken up with life as romance, as adventure. Drawn to the drama of life; it's difficult to resist the temptation of an exciting journey, an intriguing situation or hidden love affair. People born on this day wear their heart on their sleeve; the adventuresomeness they cherish is fully public. Finds the hiding of a secret the most romantic and speical act of all.
2. Exalts passion and experience to the highest plane. When in love or in search of a new adventure, no longer fully in touch with the mundane world.
3. Normally, the highs they feel are as intense as religious or drug experiences; unfortunately, their lows may be equally weighty and deep. However, after several disappointments, they can begin to steel themselves to the world, and to close off, to become more covert in their motives and actions. [how very true]
4. The danger in this is that as the years pass the chances of becoming increasingly isolated in a dreamworld where memories are infused with a still greater romance than they once did in the actual life becomes strong.
5. Rarely realizes how heavy the need is to control their emotional environment; in their mind they are at the mercy of their feelings. Fantasy life can manifest as a very real entity.
6. Many born on this day sail along on an uncharted course of desires or fantasy, searching always for the next exalted state. More highly developed people will eventually wish to gather in their ego and develop a higher form of conciousness. It is only through practice of a higher awareness, that is, simply observing what is happening around and inside them moment to moment, that they can stop endlessly repeating themselves.

Ok, that made me spit out my water. I was born on the 11th and I have this thing about even numbers. My TV volume needs to be on an even number. When I get gas it needs to be an even number. Stuff like that. And my six year olds are twins. Spooky.
