It was hot, no lie!
There was a cool wind off the lake, so that helped alot. This was taken on Sunday, 6/18/06, at 5:30 PM.
Max & Wolf kept cool by wading around in the lake; Wolf would then come out and roll roll roll in the sand, dig a hole then stick his face in it. He was COVERED in sand; I couldn't even take a picture I was laughing so hard! He did this at least 5 times.
Then they were attacked by a lobster in the lake!
then they chased a butterfly:

and finally, they took a nap:

Aw, that's pretty darn cute! I assume your pup didn't get hurt from the lobster? My little pup hasn't experienced swimming yet. Can't wait to try her out, though. Michele sent me tonight. Have a great week!
Looks like they had a pretty fulfilling day!! Esp with the lobster!!
did the lobster make it?
or was he enjoyed with some melted butter?
Whew, it was a hot one this weekend. But I'm not complaining, cuz I love summer! And I love the pic that shows up in your flicker section, of Wolf sitting on the a/c. :)
I didn't know cooked lobsters could attack.
I just love Wolf's face. It makes me smile every time I see it.
I want to come to the beach!! but 100 degrees, ick. altho the humidity here was just gross.
Hi from Michele's....
Wow,it was hot here in Florida yesterday, but I think you beat us!
The dogs are gorgeous and it sounds like your dad had a great Father's Day, which is really nice.
Wow, you guys had lobstahs in your lakes? We only got slamanders and tadpoles ;)
It got up to 90 at our place, and I thought *that* was bad. Sheesh, I would have been in the lake with the dogs.
Hotter up there than it is here!
Ah, yes, the dreaded, bright red lake lobster.
Roxy had a stuffed lobster but luckily has never come in contact with a live one. Of course she also avoids water like the plague too...Love the butterfly picture though :D
I love these pics. I am glad it's not that hot here in Michigan yet.
