This is weird. In the past week I've posted a weather forecast thingy, flowers, and also bees. It's like we're in synch, Janet! On the other hand, I had my lens only a couple of inches from the bees so I guess they didn't scare me. ;-)

I'm right there with you. However, I would have tried bargaining, "Okay Mr. Bee, you stay there in your space. I'll stay in my space. Then we'll be okay." It's all about coexisting, right?
