Got an email today from my friend, Sky; she lives in Deerfield, NH and sent me a couple pictures of her recent visitor:

I don't think I'll be hanging around her backyard anytime soon! Sorry Sky!

Sky adds: "We just got home from dinner and checked around the yard with a flashlight, and he must have come back because all of the bird feeders are GONE now! EEK!"

WOW that is totally cool but I would always be worried about the dog if I knew I had bears (even cute ones like this) in my yard!

I think I would wet myself. OMG !

OH MY!!! That's totally not what I would like to see when I got home! SCARY! That guy could do some damage.

As to the bear, well, it totally tops my first gecko sighting of the summer (although, as it involved the creature jumping off the top of my mailbox and scampering across my hand, it doesn't top it by a lot :) )

The bird feeders are gone?! Yow. Bird feeder stealing bears are something I most certainly do not want in my yard. Damn.

When I lived in Black Mtn. we saw one in our front yard one day. He was going through our trash can.

Yikes! That would suck. I'd hate to be afraid to go into my own back yard.
