I took Wolf for a walk when I got home Sunday; it had stopped raining and the sky was blue. Not 5 minutes after I got home, I happened to look out the window...and this was what the sky looked like over the house across the street.
Good timing, eh?
May 22, 2006 / HAMPTON FALLS, N.H. --Two men from Maine were driving north on Interstate 95 around 7 p.m. Sunday when they saw what appeared to be a funnel cloud coming toward them. The men stopped their vehicle and got out to watch. They told police that when the cloud moved closer, they got back in their vehicle, but a strong gust overturned it and threw it about 50 feet.
Weird, weird weather...we don't normally get tornados here...

What I want to know is, if you see a funnel cloud coming toward you, why you would get out of your car and watch. I mean, drive away. Find a ditch. Something. Geesh! :)
Glad you seemed to have a good weekend.
there were funnel clouds spotted in Northeast NJ too.....we dont normally get that kind of activity either.....
Oh wow, that looks kind of freaky!!
Glad you got home in time to stay out of that! Why do men always seem to stand and gawk at tornados? Or even chase them around? I don't get it.
Oh no Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas any more!
Cute house! Adam and I were at HomeDepot last night when they had a "emergency" shut down of the Lawn and Garden center it went from dark but OK to hailing and gusts of winds that knocked over more plant carts that you can imagine. I think the emergency shut down was more due to the lightening and the metal roof!
Nuts! The waether has been crazy. I heard about the torndado this morning on the news.
Love that house, too.
