What does it mean when you see a coyote
in a very ritzy residential area, and a man crossing the street in Somerville wearing a maroon sweater and matching maroon skirt?
Well, of course, it means you're going to have a wondeful dinner at Henrietta's Table at the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square AND get to watch the last half hour of 24 (why, oh WHY couldn't Logan just pull.the.trigger???), carrying both your xxxdirty martini AND chocolate bread pudding with carmelized bananas and vanilla ice cream out of the restaurant and up to your friend's room! Oh, and seeing an authentic Joel Meyerowitz photo on the wall at the Charles was like the icing on the cake! His photographs are the most beautiful I've ever seen, and are probably what inspired me to use natural light.
Had a great time with my friend Art tonight; he lives on the west coast, and I rarely get to see him. In fact, this was only the second time, although we've known each other for more than 5 years.
He told me about sitting next to Liza Minelli recently on a flight home...she was telling him about her dad, Vincent Minelli and the movies he made. I was thinking...man...why couldn't he be sitting next to Johnny Depp, tho! Of course, I said that and of course, he laughed at me :-)
It was nice seeing you, Art!!! Come back soon, k?

Why should HE be sitting next to Johnny Depp? Why not YOU. :) Or Alan Rickman.
To my knowledge, I've never been on a plane with anyone famous. But then, I'm usually in poor people's class, and they're in first class. :)
