Although it looks suspiciously like birdy butt to me, instead of hailing accusations of avian porn I will guess that it is actually a picture of the ever allusive sasquatch hiding one of the trees in your east coast woodland.

that should be hiding "in" one of the trees...damn sasquatch messed up me grammar....and grandpar is none to happy about it. ;)

....would you think I was nuts if I said it looked like part of the head of a dolphin ? Look at his little eye!!! How cute! lol

Ummmm...kinda looks like one of those bagworm houses to me. But it's a little slimy looking. Not sure. It kinda looks like snot in a tree.

At first I thought it was an anteater but then I thought, "noooo anteaters do not live in trees". So then I thought I would be sneaky and go to FlickR to see what you titled it but noooo you are too sneaky for me and made it a private photo. Sooooo...

It looks like a New Englandy tree and not a tree from your cruise so I am going to guess that it is a white assed Dove.
